Feminism by definition is "the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes." Definition provided by Merriam-Webster Dictionary. This definition in a different light is the support or belief that women deserve the same rights as men and that they deserve to be treated equally. You don't have to be female to be a feminist. There are plenty of men and others out there that believe that women should be treated as equally as men. There are tons of misconceptions of feminism. Some people don't think feminism should exist, others think that women need to go back to staying at home cleaning, cooking, and tending after children. I would like to try and explain my view point on the issue of women's rights and I would like to show you other people's opinion and the statistics of feminism and women's rights.
