The Elitist

Chapter 1

Jax stared at the sleek double doors of the Bel Air mansion. He didn't know what to do next after stepping his feet in front of the enormous mansion where Shade Kerkmez - the famous legendary rock star and his all time idol - living at the moment. He cannot decide on what to do. Do he have to rang the bell or ran out of this situation? Eventually, he didn't know. He usually wasn't nervous about facing celebrities for it was a regular basis to him since his father was a veteran actor. Their house was always visited with huge names in the Hollywood. Brad Pit, Tom Cruise, George Clooney, Harrison Morgan, Mel Gibson - you name it. He had seen all of them and some of them are even his godparents. But this, with him visiting his favorite rock star was apparently a little new for him. He always tells his father that he want to see the rock star since it was fifteen minutes walk away from their house and they were in the same community were celebrities and rock stars reside. But he never get the chance for Shade was always on tour with his band - Poisonous. They almost traveled about three-fourths of the world. And now, he had a chance to meet his favorite rock icon and no - it wasn't in some concert or backstage but in his house, really. Shade just arrived yesterday, taking a two week break after they've back from the European leg of their tour. They'll just record for their upcoming single album and will hit the road again - Asian leg this time.

He breathed deeply again. He was now thinking twice about this and was willing to talk back to his father as to why he'd sent him here without an hour or so notice. He knew his father will help him find his way through searching the right path he was about to walk on. Because at last, after twenty-four years of existence he finally figured out what he wanted to be. He finally decided that he wanted to be a rock icon like his idol. Knowing he would cease his slack, his father and mother who happens to be a famous and great singer-dancer were happy to help him for he was the only child they have. They were so busy to have another.

In the end, he ended up pressing the door bell. It was his one-time opportunity, after all. It was not every day to come and visit face to face Shade Kerkmez. He knew his father arranged this thing pretty well. And he didn't want his father disappointed at him because he just got worry sick thinking what will happen after facing Shade without even trying to enter his very large house.

He waited three minutes after he'd rang the bell but no one seemed to hear. He was about to press the door bell button again when he noticed something - someone - near the infinity pool Shade had. The water was very calm and at peace. That someone, whose lounging at the side pool was unexpectedly a woman. He doesn't know that Shade brings his conquest at home. Well, Jax was aware of the fact that Shade's like any other rock star who have relentless nights accompanied with groupies and fan girls but Jax was also sure that he'd watched an interview where Shade joked that he doesn't bring women at home for his Bel Air mansion was his sacred sanctuary. Yeah, right. It was clearly a joked.

He stared at the woman intently. She's lying on her back on one of the sunbathing deck alongside the infinity pool, a book on her belly, her hands holding the book at both sides. Her right leg was bent up. She was wearing a white worn out V-neck tee and a pair of short shorts which failed to cover her bare white, smooth long legs, her feet bare. His eyes then went up to her face. He took a step towards her as he saw her face. It was stunningly gorgeous. She was stunningly gorgeous. Her Azure eyes focused on what she's reading, brows frowning as if she cannot fathom what's on the book. She had a perfect nose, small but very well pointed. Her lips slightly open. God, she was very beautiful especially when she gathered her hair to propped it on one side.

Jax didn't hesitate to walk, heading towards the beautiful woman he'd never seen before. Shade must be really into this woman to the extent he let her inside the Bel Air. He understands him. As he got close, he instantly regretted it. Wouldn’t Shade like it? Shade must be a possessive ass. But then he couldn't stop himself from approaching the woman.

"Hey," he said in an awkward voice. That was the only thing he'd said but he obviously surprised her because right after he greeted her, her body suddenly stiffened then become perplexed that resulted of her throwing her book which landed in the pool. Jax was taken aback. She seemed alarmed and shocked of him.

"Shit!" she muttered a little upset. He was just watching her amusingly all the time as she bent over the pool to reach her book. And then suddenly, just suddenly, he heard her screamed and found her drowning in the pool the next second.

His first reaction was to run for help but he's more than sure that she's fully drown and out of breath before he can ask for help. He had no choice but slipped out of his shoes and shirt then jumped in the pool to save her. All his life, he'd never saved a life. He was just the boy-next-door with badass friends who wouldn't dare save a life. Now, he's just saving a life. A life who owns by a woman he just met - saw not ten minutes ago.

He laid her flat on her back on the pebbled floor by the pool side. Jax didn't know if she lost her consciousness because of taking a lot of water or from so much shocked he emitted to the gorgeous woman. He tapped her right cheek, it didn't work. She didn't wake up. He felt her pulse, glad it was normal. He tapped her cheek again, nothing. After having failed attempts of waking her, he decided go CPR. Mouth resuscitation was the only option. She might drink a lot of water. He was about to lean down to give her lungs air to breath when he heard a roar.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Jax was very familiar with that roar. Shade sometimes roared when he was so hyped by his audience during concerts. Eventually, his roar was no hype but full of madness. Jax stilled, rooted on his feet. He was right when he thought Shade's a little possessive. As he stood up to face Shade, the woman stirred, bringing forth a lot of water.

Shade's face couldn't get any sour glancing not at him but at the woman on the floor. Shade was right beside her within a second. "What the fuck? What happened?" the rock icon asked in no particular.

He reluctantly answered him, "She took up a lot of water. But I think she's alright now."

Shade appeared as if didn't heard him. He became unaware if his surroundings. Shade's face turned worried and in pain at the same time. He started to mutter obscene words as he shook the woman on the shoulder. "Baby doll! Baby doll! Fuck it. Wake up!"

And as if on cue the woman's eyes opened, Azure eyes glistening. Shade hugged her like she was someone he really cared for and could not afford to lose. Jax hadn't expected that Shade could threw out an emotion like that. He never heard from any gossip sites or blogs that Shade Kerkmez was very in love with a very stunningly beautiful woman. He thought that Shade have his love only for his guitar and music. He smiled; at least he already knew something an ordinary fan didn't.

As Shade halted hugging the woman, he looked at him with piercing eyes. It was now Jax's turn to stiffen. "You! Who are you?"
