THE males stood together in the boy's bathroom, an awkward silence stood between the two.
yoongi sighed, looking at his watch remembering he had to be somewhere in less than half an hour.
"get to it." he suddenly announced, breaking the silence.
jeongguk brushed his sweaty hands on pants, regretting his burst of braveness from earlier. but instead of leaving the men's bathroom, he just stood up tall and glanced at the other male with a [fake] confident look.
but as soon as he opened his mouth his confidence vanished.
"uhm, so why have you been ignoring me, i thought we were uhm-" the younger stuttered, becoming increasing more nervous just by the look on the older's face; hard, unwelcoming and judging.
yoongi knew this would happen almost a month earlier, he just assumed he would've been confronted a week in - not a whole month.
but no matter how long he had mentally prepared this, he knew he would never completely be okay with seeing the younger's red cheeks and teary brown eyes.
"what'd i do wrong yoongi, i- i promise, i'll make it up to you-" jeongguk sobbed as yoongi opened his arms and allowed jeongguk to snuggle into the warmth of him.
they stood in each other's arms for minutes; yoongi standing there stiffly whilst jeongguk was snuggling his head into the shoulder of the mint-haired male.
"-just please talk to me yoongi, I'll do anything."
yoongi felt his walls collapse once again, guilt striking his heart for being so cruel the younger.
"i'll never leave you again jeonggukie."
one simple lie that would hurt jeongguk more than all the other lies yoongi told.
