JEONGGUK watched as his ex-best friend walked out of a classroom, arms locked around his current girlfriend whilst smiling gleefully, from afar.
the younger's lips moved a tiny bit downward subconsciously, but he knew the other was happy so he couldn't hold him against his own happiness.
they hadn't exchanged a word with each other for a month and a half and it was stabbing the younger's heart's heart with a rough, sharp blade.
at this point he wasn't just angry at yoongi for ignoring him, he was angry at himself for allowing himself to get ignored.
he told himself to never talk to yoongi face to face because the other wouldn't want that.
he told himself to respect his hyung's choices and boundaries, but he just couldn't figure out why he was so hated by the other.
but today was different for jeongguk. he couldn't care less if he was breaking his moral codes. he just wanted to figure out why he was so unloved by everyone.
so he went up to the man he loved and waited for the response that could somehow change how he felt about himself.
