The lights above could not defeat that darkness that was the room in which a lonely Seven found herself it. Despite escaping the nightmare that was her loneliness, this was like isolation all over again; her dreams were even corrupted by the sick mind of Papa as it dared to leave her alone. She was used to this, but she didn't want to go back to it. Sitting herself up in the darkroom, Seven looked ahead to see someone who once stole her heart and in an instant broke it into tiny shards.

Standing below the only brightness in the room, Six stood straight with his back towards Seven. His fists were clenched tight and his shoulders tensed up the moment Seven's eyes began burning his back with intensity. Everything about him seemed normal, except the hole he had in the middle of his forehead from where he was shot. Seven already felt herself fighting back tears, reminding herself of the memories they once had.

"Six—"

"Don't speak, just listen," Six mumbled, his voice echoing the entire darkness.

Seven obeyed and stayed silent, waiting for Six to continue. She despised that habit of hers; always listening to people's orders. She had her own paths to take, yet she continuously took the yellow brick road that everyone told her to follow.

"I didn't know you were brave enough to run away from there. . . or you and your new friend,"

"How do you know? You're dead, Six. . ."

Six, whose back still faced Seven, slowly responded, "I could feel your absence from your cell next to mine. I can't feel your warmth anymore. . ."

Seven lowered her head to the ground and furrowed her brows. Opening her mouth to speak, Seven felt two strong hands gripping her shoulders, lifting her up from the ground.

The light followed Six as Seven was now staring at him with a clear brightness over their heads. Six eyes were plain white, no longer wearing his glasses, dried lips with a tiny dried up tear stain on his right cheek, and the open wound—Seven closed her eyes and looked away. This was strange for her. The only time Six would lift her up was by her waist when he was happy about something or wanted to prove how strong he was to her. This obviously felt entirely different, but his touch was. . . it was freezing cold compared to the boy who had a warm heart.

Getting closer, Six eerily whispered into Seven's ear. "Be careful when you're alone."

Without a care in the world, Six dropped Seven into the darkness. But darkness no longer controlled the room, but light as it found its way in and made it easier for Seven to see her destination of death. She was no longer descending into the dark, but into a grass of spikes. She wasn't in a dark room anymore, but somewhere at night where the moon shined in the real world. Six stood above at the edge of the high building as he watched Seven falling down to the ground. She didn't know where they were, but something about the building was very familiar to her.
