It had bin a week sense Hyde and Cauli had their "moment". Neither of them had talked about it, and it was always a little awkward now. They still sat on each other's laps, cuddle and smoking.
Eric and his new chemistry partner were walking out into the school parking lot, exchanging notes. When Buddy was about to leave, Eric freaked out,
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
"Getting in my car."
"That's YOUR car?!"
"Yeah. Do you want a ride?"
"HELL YEAH."Buddy just laughed, and got in, watching Eric use the aromatic window openers.
"Stop that."
He glared at him, scaring Eric a little bit.
"Na, I'm just messing with you."
Bundle chuckled as Eric started to open and close them again, driving off to the Hub.*Hours later.*
"Damn it where is he?!"
Hyde crosses his arms, trying to keep himself warm in this cold weather. Kelso looked around, worried about the skinny boy.
"I'm really starting to get worried about him. Maybe we should check the schools morgue."
"The school doesn't have one."
"Then why do we pay all those taxes."
"You know what kills me, that you do better in school than I do."
After some more time passed, the closer they got, they finally got fed up and started walking. On their walk him they pass to girls making out, and of course the boys had to stop and stair.
"Hehe... hell Yeah man. To chicks making out is so hot."
"OH my GOD."Kelso points to them unable to put together any words at all.
The two girls pull away, leaving one girl unidentifiable, but the other was none other than Cauli.
"Holly shit...she's... lesbian...?"
"Cauli!"
Kelso waved over to her from across the street causing her to panic and dive into the bar they were making out next to.
"Man! You scared them off! Let's just get to Forman's."
Hyde punches him in the arm as they continue to walk.*Hours later*
Before entering the basement through the backyards entrance, Hyde stood Kelso , looking more serious than he has ever before.
"Don't tell the gang about Cauli. She'll tell them when she's ready, and it's not our place to tell. So shut up."
They walk down the stairs, angrily stomping down the steps, only to be greeted by everyone being there. And a guy too.
"Hey, where have you bin?"
Eric asked casually, not knowing he was the reason of them being late.
"Where have we-Where have YOU bin? We were worried sick!"
Kelso commenter as if he was a worried parent.
"We had to walk all the way here, man! My feet are killing me! Are your fingers broken, can you not use a phone? You know it's cold outside, and I'm wearing my uncles boots. Now I have blisters."
"Shaggy, Scooby. We've got company.Buddy Morgan."
Donna looked up at the boys from the couch, wall Buddy just sat there.
"Yeah, I know you."
Hyde walked over, looking down at him.
"Yeah, I guess it's my fault. I gave Eric a ride home.So-"
"Get out of my chair."
"Okay. I've got to get going anyway."
Buddy got up quickly, walking behind Eric while Hyde sat in 'his chair.'
"So your car is still at school?"
"Damn you're right."
"I could drop you off if you want?"
"Yeah, Okay!guys I'm real sorry I for for about you."
"Do you want to drive?"
"Hell yeah!"
Eric got off the couch excitedly, walking up the stairs to leave with Buddy.
"Did you see that? He just ditched us again."
"Do you even know how difficult it is to clique jump? Eric has achieved something very special, and you're both ruining it for him."
Jackie said in her normal whine voice, making Hyde even more fed up with the situation.
"Who cares?"
"I'm tired and I never want to walk anywhere-again"
"Michael, walk me home."
"Okay."
Kelso got up, letting it a sigh from how tired he was. Once the two left, Donna spoke,
"Okay, what's your problem with Buddy? I mean, he seems nice enough."
"Screw him, man.I mean, he's got the money, the car, the family. The teachers like him, the counselors like him.Everybody likes him.I hate him."
"Hyde, don't you think you're overreacting just a little bit? "
"Donna, let me tell you something, okay? When high school's over, Buddy Morgan's going to a great college.
You know where I'm gonna be? Sitting right here in my uncle's boots."
"At least you've got great friends. And I'll always be your friend."
She was trying her best to cheer him up.
"Thanks, Donna."
Hyde placed his hand on her knee, looking straight at the TV.
"That was sympathy, Hyde. Not an opening for you to put your hand on my knee."
"Sorry."
"Move your hand."
Donna started laughing When Hyde moved his hand up and down on her thigh.
Cauli walked in, bitting her bottom lip as her face turned red at the embarrassment from remembering Hyde saw her kissing another girl.
"Hyde. My room.now."
Donna looked at the two and discussed it was best for her to leave.
"I'm gonna... I have to... Bye!"
She left quickly, escaping the moment before it got to uncomfortable.
"What?"
"Don't what me. I know you and Kelso saw! Please tell me you two didn't say anything."
She sat down on the couch next to him, twiddling her thumbs from being so anxious.
"No. We didn't."
"Thank god!"
She put her hand on his knee and rubbed it with the pad of her thumb.
"But tell me something.... why were you kissing her? Are you a lesbian? I'm fine with it, and I'm sure the others will be too, it's just, We did it and all..."
"Yeah I know... im... im kinda attracted to both... you know... boys and girls... ive known for a while now.... ive just never told anyone...."
Cauli looked down, while Hyde just smirked.
"So What you're saying is... I'm going to be able to see you kiss other girls from time to time?"
Boy did he sound like a kid who was getting a new toy.
"I-I guess?"
"Nice"
She chuckled and got up, ruffling his hair, making it more of a mess than it was.
"Dork."
"Na. I'm cool."
"No you're not. Only fez thinks that. And it doesn't count cuz'..it's Fez."~later~
Cauli was in her room, reading a short story Donna had given her, and holly crap it was good. It had action and romance along with questions we all needed answers to. But it wasn't cheesy, which makes it 10/10.
"Who is it?"
She called out after she herd a knock at the door.
"Eric. I need help."
"Come...in...?"
She sat up and watched as Eric walked in fidgeting in a way.
"Buddy kissed me."
She burst out laughing.
"I knew he was gay. My gaydar was going off like crazy when I saw him last week."
"Don't only gay people have that."
"I have it because my.... ummm. Cousin is gay!"
"Makes sense. What do I do thought?"
Eric closed the door, fearing Red would hear and make even more fun of him, and sat on the bed.
"Don't push him away. He made a bold leap on a guy he didn't know was actually gay. Just... be easy on him. Tomorrow at school say you're not gay, but that you don't want him out of you Life, just in it as a friend because you'd never like THAT way."
"Thanks."
Eric pats her on the back then leaves to go to his room, probably to contemplate the hole thing.-12:00am-
"Hyde?!"
Cauli got out of bed, and opened her window. Hyde jumped in her room and took his boots in and got in her bed.
"OI! What did you do? Why the heck are you here?"
She pushed him out of bed and then got in, sighing when he got back in, only to cuddle with her.
"Can I watch you and that girl make out? It's a real turn on."
"Na."
"Please.?"
"No."
"Fine."
Hyde wrapped his arms around her and chuckled.
"That was really hot by the way. Damn, man."
"I know."
She gave him a cheeky wink and closed her eyes, hoping Hyde would just go to sleep. And he did. But only for a few hours.Cauli was woken up to Hyde pressing something cold on her stomach. She sat up, causing there foreheads to bump into each other's. She hissed in pain while he just rubbed the spot.
"Calm down. I just got you a beer."
"Oh... thanks..."
At the same time they opened their beers with a lovely sound of the Can opening. Cauli seemed to chug hers, finishing in seconds. Hyde only did half. He stops when he herd her can being dropped to the ground.
"That hit the spot..."
Tears filled her eyes as she hide her face in Hyde's chest. She knew he wasn't the best person to cry around, but he gave nice hugs and that's all she needed.
"What's up, kid?"
"I-I got another note from my step dad. My mom left him. But with out a trace.... he doesn't know why, or where she went. And neither do I.... I really have no family now..."
Hyde pats her back, tho king of something to say, but couldn't tell he thought of Red, from drinking the beer.
"You have Red. And Kitty. And Eric. And the rest of the gang. Except Jackie. She's really annoying. She's the cousin you tolerate only because there rich."
She wiped her tears away and chuckled at his worlds. She felt tired, and could see the sun rising through her window.
"Thanks... how about we go back to sleep.... I need more that three hours."
Cuddled and covered back up, sleep they did.
