Part 2...

"Sorry about that." Hyde pats her back, clearing his throat sense the air was getting thick from tension. "There is nothing to be sorry for.. that's how she feels... I can't change that." Cauli laid her head in Hyde's lap.

"Fuck her... you're to good for that ass. Though it was hot watching you two make out." She hit him on the chest for that last remark. "Yeah...! Fuck her...! I just... I just miss her so much... it was the first time in my life I wasn't in a pressuring relationship. She liked me for me, not a version of me she believed she could make me into."

Hyde put his arm around her waist, pulling her into his lap. His finger tips gently traced random patterns and shapes, even tapped to the beat of a Led Zeppelin song. Her head rests on his chest, listening to his heart beat to calm her own.

"How about you change into something more festive, and we go down to Forman's party? He has beer." "Beer? I'm in." She slowly got off of Hyde and picked out and Old Christmas sweater her mom had given her a few years back. "Out. I need to change." "I've already seen everything. No need to be shy." He winked teasingly, but he didn't really expect her to strip in front of her. He gulps, watching the smirk form on her face. " what's wrong? I thought you've already seen it all? Why be shy?" She joked, slipping the sweater on then some bellbottom jeans and fuzzy socks. She puts some concealer under her eyes then powder to set, and she's ready to go.

"Stop drooling and lets go." Hyde wipes his chin and follows her down stairs, blocking her from people asking questions. Once they made it down stairs they both shocked to see three, hot cheerleaders all over Fez. " are the Drunk?" "They have to be."

Cauli stayed by Hyde's side, scared to be left alone in the crowd of people when she only knew five or six of them. Eric walked over and payed her shoulder, "good to see you! I'm glad Hyde got you out of your room." She just nodes in response, giving the scronny boy a hug. "I'm just as scronny as you right now." Cauli chuckled as Eric did to. Then Donna came and hugged her too. They talked for a wile in the back of the basement away from everyone it seemed. It was really just about Donna and Eric's great relationship, minus the screw ups Eric would most likely cause. Then Donna just listened to how Cauli felt now that she was single again, and how she may need help getting back on her feet.

"I know it may be to soon for you, but is their anyone I could help hook you up with..." Donna asked looking into the crowd of people in the room. Cauli looked too, only seeing one person clearer than anyone else in that room. He was drinking beer with Eric by the door. Hyde.

"Their is one... I think..."

Damn... Jessie was right. Cauli just hadn't fully realized it yet. Hyde hadn't either.

Hours had passed and everyone was already sent home by Red. State troopers(?) came to take back the tree Eric had got from the bundle by the highway so he could keep all the money for the party that Red had given him. The punch bowl also had vodka mixed in it by the host sisters name she never remembered. Luce? Lucie? Laura? But now that Eric was grounded, everyone was gone, her and Hyde stayed down stairs.

"Okay, so at the party their was a girl that was smoking hot. I got her number and I was wondering if I should go out with her. I don't know how to ask her out tho because i feel like she could be more than a one night stand. Maybe a two night or even a three!" Cauli just laughed lowly as he rambled in about a girl who apparently had big boobs and a slim waist. She couldn't help but hurt for some reason." Go for it dude. There is not reason not to." "Yeah! You're right! I'll call her later. It's 3am right now. That be weird." He kisses her forehead before getting up to leave. He stretches, letting out a big yawn. "I'm going to get going." "You don't have to. You can always stay in my room, you know that." He shrugs, walking up the basement stairs leaving her alone for a minute before she followed along to her room.

Why did she feel hurt from him talking about this girl? Maybe it was just pain from Jessie. It had to be that....
