7.the shopping

Everybody says that girls take so much time while shopping but let me tell you its totally wrong and I can prove it to you too. Sam and Aryan have been in the men section for more than 2 hours, during which i bought stationary for all of us, two dresses for me and 3 novels.
"Sam, Aryan I am hungry, hurry up otherwise I will go alone."
" Let's go maira, I don't think he is finished yet." Aryan said pointing towards Sam who was busy adding to his pile of clothes.
"Sam you know we are going to wear school uniform in school than why the hell are you buying so many outfits. We came to shop for school requirements not clothes and we still need to buy school bags" I said to sam. I am very irritated right now because I am hungry and the morning meds have stopped working, making my back pain a lot.
" I know maira, do you think i am an idiot?" After seeing my face he hastily added.
"That was a rhetorical question."

"Aryan, lets go and eat something. I am very hungry and this guy is taking forever."
Shocking right, the fact that i am asking a guy who i met only two days ago to come with me alone.Its because i feel comfortable with his silent presence and his considerate gestures.
"Are you sure?" Sam asked looking unconvinced.
"Yes, I am. But please try to hurry up."
"Ok, then. We will be in the cafe on the third floor as it will be less crowded." Aryan told Sam and gestured me to follow him.
We both silently went to the cafe and ordered food for ourselves.
" You are comfortable here right?" Aryan asked looking a bit concerned.
"Don't worry and relax, if I would feel uncomfortable, you would be the first one to know." I told him while smiling at his sweet gesture.
"So,I have an idea why don't we get to know each other and you can also tell me few things about school." I tried to change the subject to a less serious one.
Aryan understood and complied with the change of subject.
"I don't know how to start or what to tell. So why don't we do it like this, you ask me a question and I will try to answer it in as descriptive form as I can."
"Not a bad idea. So which stream do you have?"
"I am in the science stream. What about you and sam?"
"I too have science but Sam has commerce stream. I guess that makes us classmates right?"
"Yes we have the same classes."
"Wow that's so cool, now I will have a familiar face on my first day of school.I feel so relieved that I have you as my classmate, before I was very scared and nervous about not having Sam in my class." I felt so relieved and happy after hearing this, after yesterday's incident I was worried about how I am gonna handle school without some help or support.
"There is nothing to be nervous about. Students in our school are very nice, you will feel very comfortable and will be able to make new friends in no time. Don't worry you have me as your friend now, tomorrow come with me to the school, I will introduce you to my friends, they will love you." Aryan consoled me and smiled assuringly, which made me very happy and a little bit excited for school.
