Honey Drop looked at her desk, and Miss Arrosa started writing on the chalkboard. The blue foal sitting next to her poked her arm. Honey Drop turned her head slightly, her eyes leaving her desk.
"What?" She whispered to the blue foal in annoyance.
"Hiya! I'm Flip Wing!" The blue foal whispered back, spreading out his wings. "My mom says I was am the COOLEST foal in ALL of Equestria!"
"Hmph," Honey Drop hummed, looking back at Miss Arrosa.
The blue foal had light blue skin, a white mane with an ocean blue streak, and green eyes, and he was a pegasus of course!
"Recess time, class!" Miss Arrosa said, putting down her chalk and erasing the chalkboard. "And remember-"
Before the Miss Arrosa could finish speaking, the students had already rushed out the door and out to the playground. Miss Arrosa sighed, then sank into her seat.
"I need a new job..." She muttered, shaking her head.
"What do you do all day? Is your mom mean? My mom makes me eat my salad every time we have a party!" Flip Wing was throwing questions at Honey Drop, one after another.
"My mom is very nice." Honey Drop answered bluntly, sitting on the bench as Flip Wing pestered her.
"Want to play?" Flip Wing asked her, his short attention span driving to play.
"Maybe. What would you do if I didn't?" Honey Drop replied, snuggling into her scarf as the rain began to fall.
"This." He said.
"Wha-" Honey Drop was cut off as Flip Wing dashed forward, pulling away from her scarf.
"Oh, it's ON." Honey Drop glared at him playfully, jumping away from her bench.
Honey Drop spread out her wings, then ducked out of view into the clouds. Flip Wing looked around himself, clutching the scarf in his hoof. Without warning, Honey Drop popped up from behind him, grabbing the scarf.
"Never mess with Honey Drop!" Honey Drop smirked playfully, wrapping the scarf around her neck.
"Okay, okay!" He whined.
The bell rang, signaling their return to the schoolhouse. Honey Drop smiled, then made her way up into the door and sat at her desk. Miss Arrosa walked around with small books in her hoofs. She set one book down as she passed each desk, then went back to her desk. She flipped open a page.
"Well everyone, now we have to read Equestria: A Land Of Wonder." Miss Arrosa said, pointing down at the book.
There were a few moans. Honey Drop sighed.
"I expect everyone to read to chapter three by the end of the class." Miss Arrosa assigned, then walked out of the room for a moment, then came back in.
"Alright, start reading!" She commanded once she noticed that all of the students were staring at her.
Honey Drop looked down at the book, glancing at Flip Wing next her. He sighed a long sigh, looking at the pages, but finally started reading. Honey Drop sighed too, swearing that Flip WIng had also cast a glance at her.
