Regret

Annie's POV

"ZYRA!" I cried. She fell on the ground of the street. I tried to wake her up. I tried to pull her legs. I'm too young to pull heavy things. But this is my best friend (sorry, forgot to mention) that's in trouble. I pulled her with all I could.

"Zyra, wake up." tears were falling on my face. I summoned Tibbers. "Tibbers, pull her up!" Tibbers was quite dizzy. He couldn't move much.

"HELP!" I shouted in fear.

Then someone snatched Zyra from us. "TIBBERS, CATCH THAT GUY!!!" I was still crying. My eyes are blurry to see.

The person(?) stopped his/her tracks. I still can't look clear since I have no time to wipe them. Now was the time to wipe them. I gasp in shock.

"You're right, Annie. We shouldn't give things meaning. Sorry for my cruelty."

Varus' POV

Following them since I'm being followed by the two. I laid Zyra on the ground, Then shot an arrow near an open isle of two buildings.

"Sorry if we're sneaking at you, forgive-- ZED WHERE ARE YOU?!" Nocturne said. I just sighed then turned at Annie.

"I'm really sorry." I told her. "Let's go home." she smiled weakly, still has some tears on her eyes. I returned the weak smile. Tibbers turned into a teddy bear again. Annie ride on my back. Then I carried Zyra. Which was weird. I don't even know why I followed them. *sigh* I wish things would go back to normal.

"Varus *yawns* why don't you like her?" Annie asked, obviously sleepy. "She's stupid" I replied. "She's not stupid, she's a great friend..... and support." She said. Hehehe, indeed a support.

At the dorms..

We went at Zyra's dorm first. Annie let go of my neck then opened the door. "Put Zyra on the couch first. Let's make food for her. :)" She said. I did what she told me. Annie went to the kitchen (is she gonna cook?). I went to her bedroom. It has some seeds and buds on the floor. I went to get her blanket. Then I put it on her. I went to Annie to help.

"You really like her." She said. But this time she was like my elder. I'm really weak against her.

"Again, no." I said emotionless. For the last time, I don't like her. Or do you? What? No, right? It's a no. I wasn't even doing anything. I just watched Annie do something. "Tadah!" She made a soup. That's a first.

We heard a cough. " She's awake!" She ran to her and brought the soup. She hugged her in happiness. "Thanks for bringing me home." She smiled at her. "I helped you come home, but I didn't brought you home." Annie explained.

I try to sneak out of the dorm. "He did it." Annie points out. Dafu, I hate this moment. Silence filled the room. "I better get going" I said, facing the door. I turned the doorknob.

Zyra's POV

Annie and I were looking at Varus. I'm feeling like Annie's expecting something. I hate to say this, but.. "I'm sorry for making you look and feel like a stupid guy. *coughs*" I apologized. "What?" I heard his whisper. "Eat diner with Annie here tomorrow night as a repay of what you did," I said, walking towards my bedroom. Annie was still assisting me.
