Emma woke up early enough  on her second day at Midtown to stop for coffee at Central Perk. She waved at her parents as they both rushed out of the apartment before walking out of it herself and making her way to the coffee shop. She greeted Gunther with a wave before fixing herself coffee and one for Michelle. She grabbed two muffines and placed the money in the register.

Emma got to her train, sitting in one of the few empty space left. She checked her phone before looking up, her eyes landing on Ned Leeds and Peter Parker, two days that she had met before. The two boys were talking, well, Ned was talking. Peter rolled his eyes or shook his head at whatever his friend had been saying to him.
Peter locked eyes with Emma, smiling at her. She returned the smile and gave him a questioning look, her eyes darting to Ned. Peter shook his head in reply, as if telling her not to worry about it.
The three got off at the same stop, making their way to school. Of course, Emma kept her distance, not wanting to interupt whatever the two boys had been talking about, though, if it was Star Wars or Harry Potter related she'd most likely be willing to join the conversation.
Emma handed Michelle her coffee and muffin. Michelle gave a smile in return, taking the two items out of her best friends hand. She took a sip of her coffee and hummed.
"That's the good stuff." Michelle spoke, taking another sip.
"Sometimes I think you only hang around me for the free coffee." Emma joked.
"That's not true." Michelle replied. "It's because of your book collection and the coffee." Emma rolled her eyes playfully as they walked to class.

Emma sat next to Michelle in gym class, though the girl was far too into her book to even notice her friend sitting next to her. Emma rolled her eyes as Coach Wilson rolled out the television, Captian America's face greeting the students.
"Hi, I'm Captain America. Whether you're in the classroom or on the battlefield..." Emma turned to see Peter and Ned still talking, they'd been at it all day. "Today, my good friend, you're gym teacher, will coduct the Captain America Fitness Challenge."
"Thank you, Captian." Coach Wilson said. "Pretty sure he's a war criminal, but whatever,  I have to show these videos. It's required by the state. Let's do it."

Emma sat with Liz and her group of friends as they discussed who they'd get with from the Avengers.  She chuckled along at all of their comments.
"Now, see, for me, it would be F Thor, marry Iron Man, and kill Hulk." Betty said.
"Well, what about the Spider-Man?" Emma asked with amusement laced through her voice. Unkowningly, she caught the attention of Ned and Peter.
"It's just Spider-Man." Liz replied.
"Oh, come on, did you guys see the bank security cam on Youtube?" Emma asked. "He faughed off four guys."
"Oh, my God, she's crushing on Spider-Man." Betty said.
"No way." One of Liz's friends said.
"I am not crushing on Spider-Man, I'm just saying, the dude's cool." Emma justified. "And if anyone's crushing on that bug boy, it's Liz."
"Kind of." Liz said.
"Oh, gross." Betty scoffed. "He's probably thirty."
"You don't know what he looks like." Liz's friend said.
"He could be seriously burned." Emma added.
"You're supposed to be on my side." Liz chuckled. "And to answer your question, I wouldn't care. I'd love him for the person he is inside."
"Peter knows Spider-Man!" Ned exclaimed, making not just the group look at him and Peter, but the whole class.
"Uh, no, I don't." Peter stammered. "No. I- I mean-"
"They're friends." Flash said, jumping down from the ropes. "Yeah, like Coach Wilson and Captain America are friends."
"I've met him, yeah." Peter said. "A couple times. But, it's, um, through the Stark Internship." Flash gave Peter a look as Peter hummed. "Yeah, well, I'm not really supposed to talk about it."
"Well, that's awesome." Flash said, sarcastically. "Hey, you know what? Maybe you should invite him to Liz's party. Right?"
"Yeah, um, I'm having people over tonight. You're more than welcome to come." Liz said.
"Having a party?" Peter asked, breathlessly.
"Yeah, it's gonna be dope." Flash said. "You should totally invite your personal friend Spider-Man."
"Um-" Peter began.
"It's okay." Liz said. "I know Peter's way yoo busy for parties anyway, so..."
"Oh, come on. He'll be there." Flash said, walking closer to Peter. "Right, Parker?" The bell rang before Peter could say anything, the class rushing out of the gym.

Michelle, oddly enough, had begged Emma all day to go to Liz's party. She even took the measure of calling Emma out of work, saying she went home sick. Emma gave her best friend a pointed look as she followed her to her aparment.
Rachel sat on the couch, flipping though paper work as Emma and Michelle arrived. Michelle had yet to give up on begging and Rachel grew curious.  She raised an eyebrow at her daughter who greeted her with a hug.
"Michelle's trying to drag me to a party." Emma told her mother.
"Really?" Michelle asked. "Telling your mom on me?"
"Oh, a party, that's exciting!" Rachel squealed. "What are you going to wear?"
"My pajamas, to bed, because I am not going!" Emma replied.
"Hm, go to the party or I'll ground you for a month."
"You can't do that." Emma replied, throwing her arms up.
"I can and I will." Rachel replied. "Go to the party, meet a cute boy."
"Mrs. Geller, you forget we go to a school full of nerds." Michelle pointed out.
"They're not all bad looking." Emma replied.

"Oh really?" Michelle questioned, squinting her eyes at her best friend. "Like who, Emma?"
"Oh, you can wear that cute denim jacket Ben gave you with that black spaghetti strapped crop top." Rachel said, clapping her hands. "And the black ripped skinny jeans! Ah, I love having a daughter to dress up!"

Emma was dragged to the party, her mother had threatened to take her books and computer away for a month. The blonde girl felt like a lost puppy, following Michelle around the house. Emma smiled at the few people she recognized from her classes, the few people that were nice enough to actually intoduce themselves, anyway. Emma followed her friend into the kitchen, raising an eyebrow as Michelle grabbed a loaf of bread and put two slices of toast into the toaster.
"Want any?" Michelle asked, gesturing towards the toast.
"I'm good, thanks." Emma chuckled. Michelle shrugged in response.
Emma turned as she saw the door open from the corner of here eyes. Ned and Peter walked in, Ned explaining something to his best friend who nodded in response.
"I can't believe you're at this lame party." Micelle said, buttering her toast. Ned looked from Emma to Michelle with a confused look.
"But you're here too." Ned replied.
"Am I?" She asked, bitting into her toast and walking away.
"If it makes you two feel better, she practically forced me here." Emma told them before stalking off to find her friend.

Emma looked out one of the many windows at Liz's house, unknowningly to her, a figure was looking back. She glanced up, her eyes meeting a white ones. Her breath hitched in her throat as the figure seemed to look directly at her before it's head snapped to a different direction. The figure took off as Emma processed who it was.
Spider-Man.
