Broken Angel

----------------------------------------------------------
A few years after Cicily was cast out of heaven, because she was in love with a demon, she started going to high school. Being in love with demon was shamed upon, but she was young and rebellious. She didn’t want to follow the rules of how an angel should act, so she got cast out. Her school was the home of the Griffins. Their sports teams hadn’t won a game in a few years. She only  had two friends in school, but she generally got along with everyone.

Cicily’s personality was the opposite of Quinn’s which was emotionally unstable; but Cicily’s personality matched that of sister’s. Cheyanne was spaced out, but down-to-Earth at the same time. During one math class Cicily was staring out the window when she saw something strange outside. She saw a boy with angel wings; of course she was cast out of heaven she forgot about angels and everything else. She didn’t notice she was still staring at the boy until he turned, looked at her, and winked. Cicily then saw the boy’s wings disappear, and he walked into the front door of the school. Cicily sat there in a daze.

“Hey sis, you okay?” Cheyanne asked with worry.

“Huh? Oh yeah I’m fine. Sorry for worrying you.” Cicily said, then returned her attention to the teacher.

After class was over, Cicily was walking to her locker when she saw someone leaning against it.

“Umm excuse me, you’re leaning against my locker. Could you please move?” Cicily asked.

The boy looked at her “Hi. I’m Vetis. I’m new here and the people at the office. Said that this was a shareable locker.” Vetis said smartly.

“I wasn’t informed of this at all.. They should have informed me that I was sharing locker. They should have informed me that I was sharing a locker with you.” said Cicily, aggravated by the fact that no one had told her that she was sharing a locker.

“Um, can you open the locker please?” Vetis said calmly.

“Uh, sure. Give me a second, okay?” Cicily said calmly, or tried to.

After Cicily had gotten her stuff out of her locker she waited for Vetis to put his stuff up.

“Do I know you? I have this feeling that I do.” said Cicily, wondering why he looked so familiar.

“No, I just moved here a few weeks ago.” said Vetis, looking at her sadly. He thought, So she doesn’t remember. That’s sort of sad that she doesn’t.

“Sis, come on let’s go! Mom is waiting for us!” Cheyanne shouted down the hallway.

“Coming! I’ve got to go Vetis see you tomorrow.” Said Cicily as she began running down the hallway. That boy is trouble with a capital T.

Cicily and Cheyanne headed outside and got in their mom’s car.

“Hi, Mom.” said both of them happily.

“How was your day, girls?” said Mom.

“It was great, Mom.” said Cheyanne happily.

“How was your day Cici?” asked Mom, looking in the review mirror.

Cicily snaps out of her day dream. “Huh? Oh it was fine Mom.” She said, smiling.

“Cicily just likes the new kid!” Cheyanne said teasingly.

“Do not!” Cicily protested, but images of Vetis popped into her head and she blushed.

    “You’re blushing!” Cheyanne yelled enthusiastically.

“Sis, no yelling please.” Cicily said exhaustedly.

“Okay no more yelling.” Cheyanne said and looked out the window.

Later that night after dinner, Cicily went to her room and started getting ready for bed.

Trying to decide what to wear, she thought to herself, Should I wear soft and fuzzy or cute and silky? Feeling the warmth of the air outside, she decided on cute and silky. Then she rolled into her bed and immediately fell asleep, suddenly feeling very drowsy.

Soon she began dreaming of Vetis. She began to toss and turn in her bed. Little did she know, Vetis stood in her room watching over her.

Vetis started thinking, God, she is so beautiful. If only she could remember who I am to her.

Cicily continued to toss and turn for while, then jolted up with a gasp. She looked around the room in a panic. I know I felt someone’s eyes on me.

She looked down at herself and realized that, in her drowsiness, she hadn’t even finished getting dressed. Cicily covered herself with a quilt, looking around once more to make sure that no one was around. Then she got up and put on her pajama top, walks to the kitchen, and gets a glass of water.

I swear I felt someone staring at me. She thought, sitting down in the living room and turning on the TV. Flipping through the channel’s, she found NCIS. As luck would have it, her favorite episode was playing. She tried to relax but she couldn’t get rid of the anxious, tense feeling. She went and fixed a turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. She couldn’t stop thinking about Vetis.

Maybe Cheyanne was right. Maybe I do like him. Not like I could ever tell her that, though. She’d never let me live that down.

Suddenly, a poof of black smoke appeared in her living room and, when it cleared, Cicily could see the shape of a boy standing there: Vetis.

“Hi there! I heard you thinking about me, so here I am.” he said, smugly.

“You must be mistaken. I was not thinking about you.” Cicily said, accidentally raising her voice because he startled her.

Vetis puts his hand over her mouth and calmly said, “Shhh, we don’t want to wake them now, do we? I suggest you be quiet and not make a sound.”

Trying to get her body to stop shaking, Cicily asked, “What do you want?”

“Hmm, just to annoy you is all. Ta ta for now.” Vetis says in a devilish tone. Then he disappears, leaving only a cloud of black smoke.
