He wakes up to his alarm again and begins his morning routine. After eating breakfast with his mom. He grabs his keys and his backpack and leaves the house. He is greeted with a stinging cold wind the moment he opens the front door. He fights through the strong wind and makes it to his car. He quickly turns the engine over and blasts the heat. He looks through his rearview mirror and just about jumps out of his skin.

"Abby? What are you doing here?!" He says in between breaths, still trying to get over the shock.

"I need to make sure you are still up for the task." She straight forwardly says with confirmation in her eyes.

"I will help you. On one condition." Jake says. Feeling crazy trying to compromise with a ghost.

"What do you want?" She says in an annoyed tone, crossing her arms over her chest, raising an eyebrow in question.

"Let Vanessa see you. She could help. And I'll feel less crazy." Jake stated. Knowing Vanessa will definitely help. Plus, she deserves to know.

"Fine." She finally says before disappearing again without another word.

He puts his car in reverse and makes his way to school. When he parks his car in the school parking lot, he sits in his car racking his brain about how he is supposed to find this guy and how he is supposed to take care of him. A small voice in his head tells him to look up, and surprisingly, he listens and looks up.

His blood freezes instantly when he realizes what he sees. Or who he sees.

He sees a very familiar tall, muscular man with a bald head and grey eyes walks across the parking lot and past his car. He follows the man with his eyes, not believing what he is actually seeing. He is wearing the school's janitorial staff suit. He knew he looked familiar, he couldn't remember where he has seen the man until now. He's a janitor at his very own school. He sees the man everywhere, which is why he remembered his face.

He quickly shuts off his car and gets out; collecting his things and locking his car door. He walks faster to catch up with him.

He slows down once he notices he has gotten too close. Anger bubbles up in his stomach like a dormant volcano about to erupt. He clenches his fists around his backpack straps as he tries to keep calm. He follows him all the way in the school. But once he got into the school, he runs into Vanessa.

"Oh hey 'Nessa." He says forcing a smile on his face. Looking around for the man,

"Hey Jake...How are you feeling? Better?" Vanessa asks, raising an eyebrow in a questioning matter.

"Yeah, thank you for taking care of my mom for me. I just needed to take a breather." Jake smoothly lies. Feeling bad for lying to his best friend, but he knows it is for the best.

"Of course. I'm glad you're doing better, that's what matters." She says giving him a cheeky grin. Jake smiles back but it soon fades when Abby catches his eyes. She's standing by the doors. Vanessa catches onto his sudden change of demeanor and looks behind her to see the ghostly blonde girl standing by the doors. Abby smiles at them both and waves them over to follow her. Vanessa looks over to Jake wide eyed.

"Do you see her?" Jake carefully asks, wondering if they have seen the same thing. Vanessa slowly nods and begins to walk over to Abby. Jake follows in suit and they meet Abby in the football field's bleachers

"Nice to meet you Vanessa. I'm Abby." Abby introduces herself with a soft smile. Vanessa looks to Jake with furrowed eyebrows.

"Like...Abby...Abby? There's no way..." Vanessa says sitting down on a bleacher to keep herself from falling over in shock.
