About a week later, Abby hasn't been around since the night he was taken in. Vanessa and Jake find her grave in the local cemetery."Here lies Abigail Taylor, a daughter and a trusted friend. Rest In Peace Abby, you will always be remembered." Her simple grave read.
"I hope you are resting peacefully now Abby." Jake says to the small grave stone. Arm wrapped around Vanessa.
"You think she's happy now?" Jake asks Vanessa. Still looking down at the grave. Vanessa kneels down and places a bouquet of white roses against her grave.
"I sure hope she is." Vanessa replies giving him a small smile. Jake wraps his arm around her shoulders again as they walk away from the grave and back to his car.
As Abby watches them leave, she smiles, silently thanking them for everything. She closes her eyes and erupts into a bright white light. Going to a happier place, where she can finally rest peacefully. Where she belongs.
