gucci boy // taehyung ✔️

twenty eight

"Wear something nice?" you mumbled, looking through your wardrobe. Knowing Taehyung, he would either be wearing full-on fancy, or fancy, but in a casual way. He was a Gucci boy, after all.

You called Sheryl, since she had told you many times, that she was going to be the one to dress you for your first date.

She arrived at your apartment exactly 30 minutes later. It was just nice, since you'd just finished showering.

After screaming and freaking out, Sheryl decided to go with a pair of pants with buttons down the sides - it looked chic but was also comfy, and a spaghetti strapped silk camisole over a white shirt. You tucked the shirt and camisole into your pants and made adjustments. Sheryl brushed your hair and left it as it was - your hair was already nice. She also coerced you into putting on a little more makeup. She did the usual, putting on some light foundation, filling in your brows a bit, and then dusting on some light eye-shadow. You then applied the lip colour you bought just now.

By the time you were done, it was 4.55pm, you grabbed your belongings, stuffed it in your purse, and got chased out of the house by Sheryl.

"I'll be here, waiting for you." Sheryl told you, grabbing the snacks from the kitchen and making herself comfortable on the couch in front of the TV.

"Bye," you called, locking the door behind you.

Taehyung was already waiting downstairs, in his sports car, a black face mask hiding his nose and lips.

"You look good," you smiled at him. He was wearing one of his printed button-up shirts, tucked in stylishly into a pair of black pants. He was wearing a pair of white Gucci sneakers. "Nice shoes."

"Well you look amazing," he said, giving you a once-over.

Laughing, you replied, "I think so too. I especially love the pants." Taehyung scoffed, walking over to you and opening the door for you.

"Thanks," you climbed in. "Where are we going, though?" you asked him, once he got into the driver's seat.

"You'll see," he smiled. 

He drove along a cliffside, where you had a good view of the sea. The sunset cast a beautiful glow - it was stunning. You wound the window down, so you could stick your head out to feel the breeze. 

You smiled into the breeze, feeling it gently tickle your face and tousle your hair. Taehyung looked over at you, and grinned, watching you enjoy yourself. He was just starting to fall for you - he knew it now. What he thought was mere infatuation had blossomed into something else. Having thought about it for awhile,  he finally accepted it for what it was.

"Where are we going?" you ask again. Taehyung says nothing - his eyes trained on the road, he only smiled in response. 

The road ended at the base of the cliff - you had drove down a spiral road that led to a quiet beach. It was beautiful. The sand was illuminated by the egg-yolk like sun - the sea was sparkly, dotted with a few boats. The both of you got out of the car.

You stood by the car for awhile, just admiring your surroundings. You felt a large hand engulf yours, and a light tug at your arm - Taehyung was leading you somewhere.

You gasped at the sight before you. There was a boardwalk lined with candles, leading to a jetty. There were several small yachts on the sea, and there was one waiting for the both of you at the edge of the jetty.

"Reservation under Kim Taehyung," he told a waiter.

"Follow me, please." The waiter helped you and Taehyung onto the yacht, where a candle-lit table for two was set at the back. It was amazing - you couldn't believe Taehyung would book this for your first date. 

"They take only a few reservations per day. It's really cool, though, eating out on sea. I thought you would like this. There's a fun fair further up, we can go there after dinner."

You were only five minutes into the date, and Taehyung had already swept you off your feet.

The menu was fixed, so there was no need to order anything. It was a five-course meal - drink, soup, appetiser, main and dessert (which you were looking forward to the most).
