"I hate Tanya!" Sheryl screamed into a cushion. "How could she do that? Oh my gosh, Jiheon please send her to another outlet in a different continent, please!"

You waited for Sheryl to cool down before continuing your story. You recounted how Taehyung showed up and brought you for bingsu.

"Ugh, so you still ate bingsu without me-" Sheryl huffed, but you interrupted her.

"Yes, then, I was joking about him visiting me at work everyday, and he started teasing me. So I was like, 'yeah, okay, who wouldn't like to see their bias everyday'."

Sheryl was clutching the pillow to her chest, listening closely. Her fingers were digging into the cushion in anticipation. She lost it when you told her about the kiss.

"SHIT!" she yelled, throwing the pillow into the air. "OH MY-"

"Calm down, you lunatic!" you grabbed her flailing arm.

"Oh my-" she clasped her hands over her mouth in shock, mumbling incoherently.

"Calm down!" you repeated. Shakily, she sat back down on the sofa.

"Does that mean... does that mean that you're dating?" Sheryl whispered. You shrugged.

"I have no idea. I mean, we know we like each other now, but after that we sort of pretended that nothing happened."

Sheryl hit you with the cushion. "You idiot! Why! You guys are literally my OTP, you can't just leave it there! DATE ALREADY, PLAN YOUR WEDDING ALREADY! I want a niece or nephew!"

"Crazy woman," you rolled your eyes. "Don't talk about me when you haven't sent out your wedding invitations for you and Jungkook."

You and Sheryl stayed up talking, about BTS, about Tanya, and other trivial matters. You didn't have work the next day, because it was your day off - so you spent the night at Sheryl's.

---

"Wake up, rock," Sheryl said, nudging you with her foot. "We're going to go eat brunch with BTS, at the diner."

You opened your eyes, and sat up groggily. "Five more minutes," you muttered, and plopped back, face-down, onto the pillow.

"Whatever. I'll go pick out our outfits first." The weight, that was Sheryl, lifted off the bed.

She soon came back, nudging you again. "Wake up, we're going to be late. We have to reach there in an hour's time."

You got up and went to wash up, and changed into the clothes they Sheryl had picked out for you - a flowy romper with a lace back, along with some sushi-print socks that she wanted you to wear with your pair of vans.

She passed you a packet of banana milk.

"When did you start drinking banana milk?" you wondered aloud. "Oh my gosh, wait. Has Jungkook been over?"

Sheryl's red face spoke for her.

"Sheryl-"

"Uh-uh. We did not do anything, we just watched movies, and talked. Just like what you and Taehyung did at your place, except Jungkook didn't sleep over."

"Okay. But when were you going to tell me, hm?"

"When me and Jungkook actually start dating."

"So now that you've told me, have you started dating?"

Sheryl ignored you and only responded with an eye roll - she was one of the few people who could put up with your nonsense.

---

When you reached the diner, BTS was already there. Well, most of BTS. Taehyung was missing.

You and Sheryl slid into the booth that the group of you had sat in previously - Sheryl was sitting beside Jungkook, as usual, and you were wedged between Sheryl and Jimin. Jungkook caught you frowning, so he asked softly, but loud enough for only you and Sheryl to hear, "Wondering where Tae is?" He and Sheryl smirked at you. You slumped back in your seat. You were tired of the soon-to-be couple making fun of you.

"Yeah, fine. Where is he?" you asked Jungkook.

"He had to run an errand - he won't be joining us."

"Oh." You couldn't help but feel disappointed.

"You look good," said Jimin. You turned to your left, smiling at Jimin.

"Thanks," you grinned. "You don't look too bad yourself."

"Listen, I'm going to a cafe in town for a slice of cake after this, care to join me?"

You didn't have plans, so you agreed.

---

Jimin hailed a cab, so the both of you bid goodbye to the rest of the group and walked to the roadside. They couldn't drop you both off, because they were going to the beach.

The cab finally arrived - the both of you climbed in, and you drove off to your destination.

The cafe Jimin was talking about was a fancy, private cafe - you thought it would be a regular one, but for privacy's sake, Jimin made reservations for that cafe.

"The cakes they have here are amazing. I recommend the chocolate ganache cake, and the fresh cream strawberry shortcake. We should get both." Jimin looked so cute, engrossed in the cakes, his finger on his chin as he admired the tasty looking cakes.

"Let's get both, then," you suggested. "My treat."

Jimin smiled. "Alright."

As he placed your order, you were escorted to your table. You looked around the cafe, since you were bored, and didn't want to use your phone, for your monthly data was running out. You spotted a familiar face in the cafe.

You narrowed your eyes, recognising the person. Kim Taehyung.

But who was he with? The woman with him flicked her hair back, and laughed at something he said. In that instance, her face turned a little, but enough for you to identify her.

Tanya.
