I remember the first time I had ever picked up a guitar. It was a moment I can't exactly put into words... Shock? Joy? Excitement? I don't exactly know.
However, I did know that I had to promise myself not to tell anyone... except for Carmella (A.K.A.) Carmel, my best and pretty much only friend... and my dogs, Biggie and Roo.
Now, just look at me. My album I'll Sing With You will be out in a week. I'm so excited! Maybe it'll even be the next big thing. Maybe I'll make it big, you know?
To celebrate, Ryan took me out to the pet store and I got a kitten. I decided to name her Waffles because that's what I had for breakfast that day. He's adorable! I took him into my room when I got home and sang a song for him. He wasn't a really good audience, though. I could already tell that he was gonna be a lazy cat!
JoJo came over to see him because she's a big cat person as well. JoJo, Carmel, Waffles, Biggie, Roo, Ryan, Justin, Mom, and Dad were the only people I need in life. They really were, but I wish I could just ignore all the haters. You know, the ones who think I'm ugly and I can't sing. Sometimes I just really wish they would shut up.
"Oh my gosh, he's adorable," JoJo exclaimed. "Can I keep him?"
I laughed and stroked Waffles's head. "Yup! He's a cutie. So... be honest. What do you think of the music?"
JoJo looked up from Waffles and smiled. "Of course I do, Megh. It's beautiful and so meaningful! A week from this day the world will be able to hear it. They'll love it, I know it."
I smiled back at her. "Thanks, JoJo. I sure hope so."
Hey guys! Sorry for the super short chapter. Every time I'mm put up a video of Meghan (usually when she's young like this). I looooove this song and she sings it so well here! I'll post a longer chapter next time. Merry Christmas!
