Colleen's POV
I get a knock on the door. I open it and it is this teenager with homemade cookies. She gives them to me. I thank her and go into my house. Kory and Rachel are helping me unpack. We each grab a cookie and take a bite. They are delicious. "Colleen, these cookies taste a lot like your cookies," Kory said.
"Yea, they do," Rachel added.
"Oh no, what if that girl is a fan? She will know where you will live. She could tell the fandom and this will never work out," Kory says sincerely.
"Oh god, she had a Ballinger phone case and a spread happiness sweatshirt. I am screwed. This will never work out. She'll tell all of her friends, and the fandom, and I will have to relocate to another random part of the country and hope there isn't a repeat. I'm dead," I say. My life is going to be over. This is so stressful.
"Maybe she won't. You never know. She might be able to keep this secret," Rachel says trying to think optimistically. I try to believe her, but it is hard to do so.
I open my front door to get a box when I realize she dropped her phone. I pick it up. Luckily, there is no crack. I take the box in and head towards her house. I think she said her name was Maya. Well, we'll find out.
I knock on the door. A lovely woman opens the door. Her name is Linda. She notices who I am and lets me go to her daughter's room.
