Shipping War

     In Auradon everyone was a big fan of true love. It made sense with so many heroes having it. It did come with a problem though. The children of said heroes wanted to know who was who's true love and they sometimes disagreed on who was meant for who. This was the school's current conflict.
"Jane, how can you ship Jaylos over Garry, it's ridiculous! The way Harry looks at Gil is way more intense than when Carlos looks at Jay!" Audrey flapped her arms in frustration.
Jane turned towards the daughter of Aurora, murder in her eyes,"How dare you! Questioning someone's ship is only okay if the relationship is abusive or incest! First of all Carlos doesn't do intense. He does cute puppy dog eyes that melt Jay's heart! Second of all it's Jay that does intense, he looks at Carlos like a rainbow made of lightning!"
The two continued to argue, unaware of the fact that Evie and Mal were right behind them. The two Isle girls decided they had had enough, Mal spoke first,"Okay what the hell is any of this!"
Audrey addressed the purple princess,"It's shipping. I think Harry and Gil are the power couple of the school and Jane has her head stuck in Pumbaa's ass."
This caused Jane to gasp and slap Audrey,"Talk about my ship like that again and I'll make you look like Dr.Facilier's swampy fungus feet!"
Audrey moved to strangle the fairy when Evie got between the two,"Okay you two! How about we solve this conflict peacefully."
Audrey scoffed,"Just how would we do that?"
Mal stepped in,"How about a wager? We go around the school and ask people who they think makes a cuter couple. If your ship has more people supporting it then you win and the other has to shut up and apologize."
Jane and Audrey agreed and shook hands. It only took a couple of days for them to ask everyone and they weren't happy. The entire school was divided on the matter. Evie and Mal supported Jaylos because they wanted their friends to be happy. Chad and Ben supported Garry because Jay and Carlos didn't seem like a power couple to either of them. Everyone has their reasons and it was getting out of hand. Fights were started. Smear campaigns were launched.

Eventually though, everyone got tired of it so they came up with a new solution. The couples that gave the best performance at the big sweaty ball would win for their side. Snow White, Aurora and Beast would judge the performances. The day finally came and everyone was dressed in their ship's color scheme.
Mal walked up to Jane and Audrey,"Well girls, looks like the wager is finally at an end. Care to raise the stakes." She wiggled her eyebrows.
The girls looked at each other and Jane said,"What do you have in mind?"
Mal whipped out her spell book,"Whoever loses gets to choose a spell to be done. Whether you want to improve yourself or destroy the other. I don't care, using my magic is fun."
"Deal!" They shouted simultaneously.
Fairy Godmother came on stage, everyone looked to the dean,"Let me introduce to you, the first ship, Jaylos!"
     The boys began and their show was spectacular. They sang a version of Rotten to the Core but instead they would sing,"I love you to my core!" At the end all of the Jaylos shippers cheered and a couple of Garry shippers booed.
Fairy Godmother walked back on stage,"Silence please! Alright now for my personal favorite, Garry!"
     
The boys walked on stage. Gil looked out onto the crowd and started having a panic attack. Harry grabbed his boyfriend,"Look at me."
Gil did and Harry continued,"Just be with me and forget about them."
     Harry and Gil began to dance, they moved together in one embrace. The crowd was in awe. Once the boys remembered where they were they got off of the stage but not before a kiss.
Once the boys were back in the crowd Fairy Godmother took the stage,"Well, the judges have decided and the otp is,"she paused,"Garry!"
      Everyone cheered. Audrey walked up and whispered what she wanted done in Mal's ear. For the next week Jane really did have her head stuck up Pumbaa's ass.
