Harmolus and Harmonia

Chapter 1

Once upon the time, there are two person, Harmolus and Harmonia. They both live far away from each other and live a different yet same life. Harmolus is a playful hunter, living in the woods near a village sometimes he helps the villagers there. On the other side, Harmonia is a serious knight, living in a city with many warriors but none is stronger than her and she still seeks for a man who can defeat her in a duel. One day, Harmonia goes on a journey from the city to find a worthy opponent and Harmolus takes on an adventure since the villagers doesn't need much of a help they used to. And so, they both go around the world helping people they meet and sharpening their skill. Finally, on the first day of Winter, they both find an ice master, Harmolus sees the master practicing on top of a frozen lake in the middle of a thick forest, while Harmonia sees her master fighting Lava Golems on top of an active volcano. Little they know, both of them are taught by the same person at the same time just in a different place and by different bodies of his. They both go through a lot of training with their master and until the end of Winter, they master the technique of ice. As their training is now complete, their master set them off with a scroll to bring and he says to them, "This scroll contains the most powerful technique of ice, because all of the ancient spirits of ice technique user will lend you their power to overcome your problem. But beware, my student, because it also comes with a prize, a prize that YOU have to pay, use it as your last resort.". And then, they're back at their adventure, ready to help more people as they're more powerful than before. After some years goes by, Harmolus's power is more into utility than for fighting and Harmonia's power is more to fighting purposes than anything else. One day, there's a gigantic fire monster wreaks havoc on a big city and it goes on for another city. The news spreads so fast that both Harmolus and Harmonia now know about it, so they rush to the city from where they're at the moment. Unfortunately, Harmolus stumbles upon the monster that has been causing all of this problem.

"So you're the one who's been causing all of the chaos, huh?!", says Harmolus as he readies his ice bow and arrow.

The monster screams acknowledging Harmolus as a threat to his existence and charges him. Harmolus dodges it and shoots a volley of ice arrows, the arrows melts away as soon as it touches the monster but it seems that the monster is hurt as well.

"Hah! How do you like me now?!", Harmolus mocks the monster making it heats up and become stronger, "Uh-Oh!".

Back to the city the monster raged upon, Harmonia is there while the city is still on fire.

"How can I save all of these townsfolk?", She asks herself who has been training for a monster fight not save the children from a burning house thingy.

She then makes ice spikes grows from the ground to hold the buildings from falling apart while trying to put out the fire with some ice spells. She then rushes inside a building, crushing through the rumbles and take the people out of there.

"One building done, so many more to go.", says her as she empties a building.

"Help! Help me!", a voice comes from a building wreckage.

"Please, my children are still inside!", yells a woman on the street.

Both Harmolus and Harmonia give all they can to do what they have to do, either slay a monster or save a lot of lives. But they do realize, they won't be able to finish the job, they pauses for a moment, take out the scroll of the forbidden technique and use it. After a while, there's a sudden burst of power that they can feel, it's true! They're given power that is powerful enough to overcome the thing that's blocking their way. Harmolus takes out his dagger and transform it into a big ice sword then he makes wings of ice on his back and he flies in front of the monster. Harmonia makes a bow of ice out of nothing and suddenly there's a strong gust of wind from behind her and she makes a giant arrow of ice ready to be fired. Harmolus then dives aiming for the monster's chest, slashing through the monster, he keeps going back through the monster slashing it until it can't do a thing. Harmonia also fires the arrow, letting it flies through the town with the strong current of the cold wind following it, putting out all of the fire and fortifies the buildings structure. After the problem is through, it's time for them to pay the price, their body temperatures are dropping quickly and soon enough their body is now made of ice not flesh. A moment of silence is there, when the hero is now nothing but a sculpture of ice, the silence is broken by the cracking sound from the ice, as suddenly they shatters into tiny ice shards so light that the wind can carry them, away to a place unknown.
