Harmolus and Harmonia

Chapter 3

Time goes by until Harmolus meets the heroes. They has started running a place to train people to be heroes like them.

"Training people? I don't think that suits me but if you guys have a base at space that needs some people to fill, I'm more than happy to help!", says Harmolus excited.

"Well, if you can control your movements at zero gravity and survive the space itself that is.", says Space.

"And fight aliens if some choose to make trouble with their alien weaponry.", adds Morph.

"I can try to learn all of it.", says Harmolus.

"Do you want to be an animal hybrid?", asks Android.

"Oh, I always want to be fused with a Seabear, because they can survive extreme temperatures.", answers Harmolus.

"Don't you already can do that?", asks Agent.

"Just the usual cold cold not the extreme ones.", explains Harmolus.

"I'm not sure you can change form into the animal though.", says Android.

"Meh, I'm more into the ability to survive harsh temperatures.", says Harmolus.

"That, we can try.", says Android, "follow me.".

Harmolus follows Android to the Hybrid room, where a person is changed into a hybrid with the animal of his or her choosing.

"Cool room you have here and I suppose I'm going to be laying here.", says Harmolus as he lays on an iron table.

"This will only take a moment.", says Android.

"Right.", Harmolus readies himself.

The process begins with the hope that it'll succeed since a Seabear is a microscopic animal. Sounds of machinery, a bright light with some sounds from the AI. Everyone watch with fingers crossed hoping it will work. The sounds are no more, the lights are out and the AI says, "The hybrid process is done, thank you for staying still.".

"Okay, now time to check those skills.", says Cat.

"Come, let's move on to our training room.", says Agent.

"In this room we train together so much, that this room looks messy and full of holes.", says Shadow.

"BUT, it's still safe to have a test around.", says Energy, "let's do this!".

"What are we going to do?", asks Harmolus.

"You're gonna stand there, taking on the heat and cold that I make.", answers Energy.

"Cool, I'm ready!", says Harmolus.

"Here we go!", says Energy all fired up.

Energy starts by being fire and increase the heat by time, Harmolus just stands there like the room temperature is still the same. Then Energy changes into ice and drop the room temperature low, still Harmolus doesn't budge with the changes happening.

"Alright, it's another success!", says Cat.

"About the job we offered, we're still working on the space base, but when we have it we'll tell you.", says Android.

"Or I'll see you guys launch it from here and hitch a ride.", says Harmolus, "I think I'll stay around here. It's a great town you have here in the middle of a forest.".

"That's good, we'll be keeping in touch with you, but we're sorry there hasn't been much of people here.", says Morph.

"You'll see more of creatures rather than people.", says Space.

"A chance to sharpen my hunting skill.", says Harmolus.

"Just don't kill someone's pet or a chicken.", says Shadow.

"What's with the chickens?", asks Harmolus puzzled.

"He's just joking around, don't mind him", says Cat.

And so, Harmolus goes to the town and he changes a tree into a treehouse for him to live in, he then goes into the jungle hunting for monsters and accidentally he stumbles upon a monster cave and enters it, honing his skill, he keeps getting deeper with the monsters getting stronger and harder to defeat. With his stamina being low, as he encounters the leader of the monsters he uses the forbidden spell, which makes Harmonia the one fighting the boss monster. She freezes the monster and dashes, she then reaches the monster and give her ice sword a big slash and shatters the frozen monster.

"Hmm, I still don't have a place to live, I guess this cave will do with just some modifications of course!", says Harmonia.

She then freezes the whole cave and makes furniture out of ice, after that she goes to the town nearby. There, she meets everyone and becomes close friend with a shaman, Jessie. She's the only shaman in town and she's a friend of both Harmolus and Harmonia and the only person that knows that both of them shares the same body but doesn't have the guts to ask them about it. Will they know about each other or they will live with a secret neither know about.
