            Have you ever had that one comfort food that makes everything feel so right after all the shitty things that happened, I think most of us do

Today I'm in dire need of it, since it feels like I've been through hell this week at work. So now I'm on my way to the café that sells the best chocolate moist cake in town, I was really looking forward to it but to my dismay they just sold the last piece for today, so instead I just ordered a slice of blueberry cheesecake my second favorite after I got my order I sat at the corner where I usually do, finally relieving all the stress of this week at work it's a good thing that Christmas is just a month away so I expect that our work load will be lighter. I was then lost in my thoughts just staring outside I really like observing people.

'Hi!' that snapped me out of my reverie

'uhh hello?' it was a guy and I'm really confused because I don't know him 'do I know you?'

'actually no, uhmm can I sit here?' I nodded

'I'm sorry for intruding, I'm Daniel and I know this may sound strange but I was looking at you from the moment you walk in, so I heard what you ordered then I noticed you look sad after so I ask them and they told me that you wanted a chocolate moist cake but  they've already sold the last piece so you opted for something else, well I was that person since they told me that it's their best seller, I know I'm blabbering nonsense so I'll get to the point already, the thing is I want to share this with you' well that was just weird 'and maybe get to know each other'

'wow! you move fast don't you?'

'well I don't want to pass this chance and end up regretting after'

'you have a way with words, do you know that?'

'well will that help me know your name?' and he smiled at me that kind that make your insides melt

'are you flirting with me know?' get a grip of yourself Kath, yes he's handsome and all but he is still a stranger

'maybe, or I'm just someone who wants to share his cake to a beautiful lady because she's craving for it' and I felt my cheeks heating up

'but you do need taste their chocolate moist cake it's really the best'

'well will you share this experience with me my lady?'

'if you insist'

'I do insist'

And we do end up sharing the cake and got to know each other more that night, and it didn't actually stopped there because after 3 months he courted me and I said yes to be his girlfriend on the day that we met, have you ever felt that certain kind of familiarity with someone because I felt that with him

And that café and eating chocolate moist cake became our thing too even after all the years we've been married, who would have thought I'll meet my significant other because of it
