last christmas

I really hate going home a few days before Christmas because of the snow storm but what can I do there was so may things to finish at work and I had to over time for two straight days

After I got out of work I quickly made the drive back home so I don't have to endure the snow storm on my way, almost an hour after I looked at my fuel gauge and it's almost empty luckily  I saw a sign that says the gas station is 200 meters from where I am

'I just hope that I make it' and luckily I did but unfortunately the line was so long and because of that I had to wait for an hour for my turn

After filling up my car's gas tank I quickly start my drive back home cause the snow is falling now but then my bad luck was not done with me 

Since the snow storm is getting stronger the snow on the road is getting thick too so my car's tire eventually got stuck and I'm trying to search for a towing service on my phone but it does not have any signal on it, great just freaking great how can I find help here?

A few minutes after that I heard a car nearby, so I quickly went outside to ask for help, as soon as I see it turn I frantically waved my hands and thankfully the car stopped, I know it's kinda stupid because whoever driving that car is a stranger but I got no choice now, the car door is opening now I just hope that is a girl

'you' of all the people it had to be my ex

'Kath? is that you?' this is freaking awkward

'yes, oh hey!'

"what are you doing here in the middle of nowhere?'

'nothing I'm just stopping for awhile so you can go on now, sorry for the bother'

'are you sure? cause it doesn't look like your fine'

'no I am just fine, really'

'I think not because I think you car is stuck' he went near so I tried to stop him but he just  ignore me and still went near it 'I think your car can't go anywhere with this , no buts anymore I'll just call a towing service'

'I think you can't make any calls mines got no signal' but boy was I wrong, he was already talking to a person from a towing service how can that happen. So we waited for thirty minutes for the ting towing truck to arrive 

After all that shenanigans I had to ride with him even when I tried to convince him that I can just ride an uber to go home but he wouldn't let me so I had to endure hours with my ex how nice my day is, so I tried to busy myself on my phone to avoid a conversation with him that I didn't know that I fell asleep, and the car was not moving

'why did we stop?'

'well unfortunately we can't go on because the snow on the road is getting thicker making it impossible for us to get further'

'what do you mean? so we can't go home?'

'yup'

'no that can't be I need to go home' I'm staring to panic now

'as I said it's impossible for us to go further so we need to stay at an inn for the night, maybe we can go tomorrow'

'but'

'Kath I don't want to repeat myself again'

So of course all the inn are all booked because of the hollidays and the snow storm  but luckily we found one inn that has one room still available but unfortunately it only has one bed, I know I can't complaint anymore

'I'll just take the sofa I think this is all my fault'

'as if I'll agree to that and please Kath no buts anymore'
