There's only one day left before the Interschool and after that I'll be gone for good.

Layla doesn't know anything about this.No one knows except me and Claire.My aunts want to keep it as a secret as possible.They don't want anyone want to know about our whereabouts.I feel guilty not even telling it to my bestfriend Layla.

The program started at Exactly 8:45 A.M

At the SCHOOL GROUNDS
Each SSG partner should accompany the varsities in each school.Me and James is incharge of the Basketball players and James was very happy about it.

"CLARA AND JAMES both of you is incharge of the Basketball players."Mr Garret said in the lapel.

"Woahh,you heard it right? Im going to assist the basketball players. yes!"James said.

"Yes,I heard it.Congratulations then."I replied

He let out a big laugh and the hugged me.

"Woah!Keep your hands-off."I instantly said getting out on his hug.

"Ohh,Im so sorry Carla."He instantly blushed at the thought.He ran and left me standing.

What just happened?I said to myself.

I met him in the court and he already changed into his Varsity Shirt.I instantly saw him because he leads the warm up exercise of the THONIANS.I put the first aid kit beside me and look our school's players.The game hasn't started yet but James already sweating profusely.To be honest he looks hot,sweating in his red varsity shirt.It has an imprinted name at the back, PETERS 23.We have the same favorite number.

30 Minutes after,the game  started.
James scored 3 point shot in the first quarter.No wonder why he became the MVP of basketball team.I watched him as he pass the ball to his team mate and how he dunk it."He's a pro",I murmured to myself.

1 HOUR AND 35 MINUTES HAD PASSED

    In their first game they won.James asked me if I have any water because he left his in his bag.I saw how envious the girls are to me when they saw James drank my water.I just didn't mind them.I was cheering for THONIANS when my attention diverted in the right bleacher across me,where I was sitting.I saw the mysterious guy again, he was looking at me intently.When he saw me,he got up and hurriedly walk away.I stand up and followed the suspicious man who were observing me but I lose him.

I sat back to where I was sitting when the buzzer suddenly rang.

"Tinnnnnnnnnngggggggg..
Tinnnnnngggggggg"

And I realized that the game had just ended and the Thonians Won and Im so happy for them.But I was left frozen when James got the trophy and gave it to me and said something to everyone in the court that I never expected.

"To the girl who got the trophy and... my heart..."

What!?what is he saying right now?What Heart?

The people started shouting and I can't help to blush at the thought but everything's not right.

....."Can I Court you Clarinthia Chloe Jane Milan?"He said sweating and kneeling in front of me and  all the people in the court started to make sounds.But I don't know what to answer.

" Uhmmm...I..I...Do-nt know James this is so surprising.Can we talk outside after this?I...I just can't believe this."

"Ohh.Ok"His sweats still continue to run down on his neck.I don't know if he's nervous or happy because his eyes doesn't show any kind of emotions.

We both got out of the court and I started to walk fast.He was following me and catching up my pace too.

"Hey! He grab my hand and I face him."

"James!What's all of this?"

"Of course I'm applying to be your boyfriend isn't that obvious?"He replied like he can't understand me.

"Why?Why me?I can't be involved into any relationship right now.Im just not ready and I can't handle things like that and right now.It's very complicated."I said removing his hand from mine.

"We'll work it out Clara.There are many things that I like about you and I want to know more about you."

I wondered.Why all of a sudden he got his interest on me?
There's a lot of questions that travel on my mind.

"James,Im so sorry.I..I  just cant right now.Thank you for admiring me but I just can't accept your feeling for me right now.I hope you understand."I handed him the trophy and ran as fast as I could.

I ran towards the gymnasium where Layla was and hugged her.

"What's wrong Clara?"

"I just want to say Goodbye."

"Why where are you going all of a sudden?Where not done here yet."

"Im sorry, but I'm going home there's something urgent came up."

"Oh,ok.I'll just relay it to Mr.Garett that you'll leave early."Layla said considerately.

"Thanks Layla,You're the very best friend I ever had.Hope you'll take care of yourself and never ever forget me.I love you my dear friend."I kissed her and hugged her very tight.

"Oww...oww Cl..a.ra.I..I cant..."Layla said grasping for air.

"Oh Im sorry Layla."

"What's this drama Clara.It seems that we wont be seeing again.Stop this your scaring me."Layla added

"Just remember all that I said.Don't ever forget me and promise me never ever change."I hugged her again before leaving and sealed our promise with our bestfriend handshake.

She waved goodbye to me and I waved at her too.

I ran,thinking that I would never see her again.I hope she'll understand.I cried when I was out of the school grounds.I will never have any communication with them.I remember that aunt Jane told me that we will be using different phones and we will delete all our contacts in our old phone.I went to the hospital to visit and monitor mom's condition and I heard that she's already awake.Claire is the one who is watching over mom and she called me on the way.My sadness was replaced by happiness.

I immediately went to mom's room and saw that she is already packing and smiling.

"What are you doing mom,you just woke up."I said angrily
She should rest until she ragain her strength.

"Im feeling good and Im really ok Clara.You have nothing to worry about me dear."Mom said like she just recovered from a wound.

Claire just looked at me and shrugged her shoulders.She knows that we cannot argue with mom.I just helped them pack.

"So are you both ready for Europe?"Mom suddenly asked out of nowhere.

"HOW DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS MOM?"Both I and Claire asked mom surprisingly.

"Of course I know everything.Why do you ask all of a sudden?"Mom return a question to us.

I had a suspicion all of a sudden.

"Mom,did you already plan this ahead with aunt?"

I KNEW THAT MOMENT...THAT EVERYTHING'S ALREADY BEEN PLANNED WITHOUT MY KNOWING.
