CLARA'S POV
1 week past, but mom hasn't regain any consciousness yet.Aunt Chloe and Aunt Jane already got home and they stayed for 3 days and got back to their works again.I remembered our small talk after they got here in the hospital.

      "Clara dear,Haven't you seen any suspicious man lingering around you when you're at home?"Aunt Chloe asked me worriedly like she know something that I don't.

"Uhmm,there's no one I think Aunt."I replied wondering.

"From now on Clara be cautious always and be careful,go home early and please be with Claire also protect yourselves from strangers."Aunt Jane warned me like there's something going on that I don't know.

"Uhmm,Ok.But I find it too awkward aunt like there's something going that I don't know.Will you please tell me?"

"No,there's nothing going on,just...just be careful."Aunt Jane replied.

"Do you still remember how to defend yourself?"Aunt Chloe said.

I remembered the training that I got from them when I was still a kid.Aunt Clarinthia,Chloe and Aunt Jane thought me different stunts to defend myself,starting from the basic to the complex.I managed to handle Knives,Sword,and Katana but never had I tried handling a Gun.From my young age until now.

"Yeah.. Aunt,It's still fresh in my mind.Why?"I asked in a very confusing tone

"Clara,I know this is confusing for you but I know that you're a smart girl,just be safe and be ready always."Said aunt Chloe.

"3 weeks from now we will call you and please prepare your stuffs, you can bring Claire too.We will go to Europe and we will stay there for good."Aunt Jane said like she was just refering to pack for a camping.

I was shock and faced them in disbelief.

"What?Are you sure?How about mom?How about my studies?How about my friends? And for what reason?"I asked them continuously

"Clara,We already fixed everything.There's nothing to worry about.We can't explain everything to you right now but in the right time you will understand."Aunt Chloe explained

"It's for your own good.For Claire and for you Clara.There may be a lot of changes but I know you can cope up with it.We believe in you."Aunt Jane added

I WAS SHOCKED AND CONFUSED AT THE SAME TIME.WHY?And at that moment I knew something was not right.

After that day that we talked about those things I could not function properly.In school everytime that Layla approached me I doesn't respond and my grades began to get low.I really don't know what's going on and mom hasn't woke up yet and I don't know what's wrong.Until it's about to prepare for the interschool league.Layla was always there for me eventhough she doesn't know what's happening.I got paired up with James.

AT THE MILLENIUM ROOM
I was decorating and doing what Layla told me to do.I was just putting the decoration here and there silently and not even acknowledging James presence.

Maybe he was too bored when he got up and make all the annoying sound in the millenium room and I got very distracted.

"Hey,could you please stop its so annoying."I said to him.

"Why?Im not doing anything." then he hid the stick and can that made all the fussy sound.

I just focused my attention to what Im doing right now and start cleaning the board that's going to be used on Friday.

"Why are you so boring all of a sudden?"James trying to start again,but Im not in the mood.I just kept my mouth shut.

"Hey,wanna go out?"James suddenly asked me out of nowhere.

I faced him and his eyes grew bigger when he understand what he just said.

"No,what i meant is that,We..uhmm..you know..not the-t..thi..thing that you are thinking."He said trying to explain what he really meant.

"You know if you're trying to hit on me,Go find someone not me."

"Im not hitting on you,I just want to get out here besides I have a practice to catch up and I can't go."

"Why?the door's open,You're free!"I replied

"It's just that,My uncle will scold me again and get me grounded if I dont do my part here."He said combing his black hair.

"Ok" I replied.I don't have anything to say to him were not even that close.I wonder why he keeps on nagging me all the time.He's a bipolar sometimes that even his uncle cannot understand him.Whatever I don't care about him.

What I care right now is the remaining days that I have here in North Carolina before we go to Europe.I really can't understand what's happening right now,what does Europe have to do with me?Im happy here and there's nothing wrong going on,except when mom got into an accident.Maybe this accident is the root of all,maybe the man who tried to kill mom have to do something about this.My mind is filled with stuffs that I don't know right now.I hope everything will fall into its own places.

I stopped thinking when James called me.

"Hey,Clara do you want to stay here overnight?"he said with sarcasm

He helped me get the heavy stuffs and we left the room.

While we we're walking I thanked James for the fruits that he gave me a week ago.

"Uhmm,James thank you by the way,for the fruits."

"Oh that?"he rubbed his temple and laughed.

I really don't get him sometimes.
