A Witcher she was strong and brave,
White hair with read waves surround her face.
Deadly smoke and endless fire,
Her swords with a strange desire.Man she hunts instead of beast.
Presents her friends a deadly feast.
The heart that loved devoured by fear.
Rests now in her hands, eyes full of tears. The life in her faces fades away,
While light announce the new day.
Her body he wants to get burned,
But things take a sudden turn.A griffin brings them new hope,
Landing nearby on a slope.
The man with soft voice and purely heart
Is able to rip the shadow apart. He does not know how it happened, but suddenly his friend was gone into nothingness. There was no smell of her left, no trace he could follow. The only thing he remembers was a cloud, thick and dark, but that was never a hindrance before. In he went and put he came, but he was alone once he was able to see the clearing skies. Confused he looked everywhere, but neither Margy nor the black cloud were anywhere nearby. He screeched, he flew big circles, before he landed to rest his tired and cold wings. Small icy flowers already formed on his body, when suddenly he heard a singing.
Not far away a figure, dressed in the brightest colours and with a beautiful, but for Marlow very loud voice, comes around the bending path and heads now straight towards him. The troubadour stops in his tracks suddenly as his eyes notice the crouched griffin before his eyes. The happy song he was just composing was gone in an instant, erased by the fear that shakes him like a leaf.
'Great, that's it Dandelion. Now your mastermind will be lost forever, devoured by this beast.' In his mind he was already seeing his life go by from the first verse he ever wrote to the newly one he wanted to write, before he dies. Yet the griffin is not doing anything. Instead of screeching and launching his majestic claws onto the bright coloured human, he stands up slowly to walk over to the man to bump him softly with his dark yellow beak. Dandelion opens one eye to look at the cause of his loss of balance, however he was just able to see the intimidating scratched and many years old beak and he fainted right on the spot. Luckily Marlow catched him gently. He took the poet in his claws gently to fly off back to Kaer Morhen, the only place he could think off Dandelion was heading. Maybe, just maybe Margy would be there as well.Dawn was already breaking through the clouds as I opened up my eyes again. The view was breathtaking, but so was the fact, that a huge griffin was carrying me through the sky. I was sure that he wanted to bring me to his lair to feed me to his children, but once I gathered my courage to look up I saw the cat school medallions shining in the light. It was Marlow! Well of course it was. Why would a griffin be near the home of a bunch of witcher right? I knew that from the start, I was just very tired from the journey and this way of traveling is much faster and a bit more comfortable. The only thing that was strange about this situation was that Margarethe was missing. I didn't paid much mind to it, because Marlow was heading straight to Kaer Morhen.
This old castle is really like a second home. It would even be more welcoming, if they would pay a bit more mind to the decoration. Witcher, they surely got no sense for aesthetic. I didn't thought, that it was still this far away. What a luck, that I met this marvelous griffin. It was almost in an blink of an eye that we arrived, but what I saw then was not at all to my liking.
There was Eskel just right outside of the castle carrying a body? Yes a body it was. I didn't knew who's body, but apparently Marlow knew right away and speeded off towards him. I will never forget this screech of him. If I ever felt blue for a monster then it was in this moment. Right after he dropped me to the ground, and I can tell you that hurt quite a lot and I cursed this foul beast, however he only did it to get his beloved friend Margy. As it seemed, Eskel was just about to light the stack of wood he had placed her, when he was shoved away harshly. He almost set himself on fire, because of the torch he was holding.
I was seriously in shock as soon as Geralt explained the situation and what happened to me. Margy dead? No. The one, that was so strong, but yet kind even if she does not want to admit it. It was unbelievable. I felt my heart clench together and my head swimming. Before I noticed it I was back on the ground, without even feeling he cold floor. I must have been more shocked, than expected and the pain just kept growing until I couldn't hold it in any longer and screamed out.
I know I shouldn't have in that situation, but it was too much to take. I felt like myself was forced deep down inside. I couldn't even hear the words Yen shouted at me. I was confused and in much pain. I don't even want to imagine how my beautiful face looked like in this situation, but the way the others around me reacted it must have been a real mess.
