JinRene: I miss you

Jin POV. 

"Remember?  You used to take so many picture of the sky and I kept complaining why don't you want to take pictures of me." I laughed.

"I'm worldwide handsome you know!" I shouted playfully. 

I looked at the framed picture as I talked to it. 

2 years since she left me. 

I would be lying if I said it wasn't heartbroken.

"Where excaly are you? Everyone had given up hope that you're still alive,  even the cops." I looked at the picture. 

It was a picture of our first date.  She was smiling brightly into the camera and I was too. 

"I know I hadn't been the best boyfriend,  but can you give me a chance?" I begged as if she could hear me. 

Just then,  the door bell rang. 

It must be the pizza. 

I got up from my bed and went towards the front door. 

"Uhh 2 pepperoni?" I just nodded my head while only looking at my wallet,  taking out the money. 

"Uhm... 25 bucks" she said but seemed hesitant.

"You seemed nervous?" I smiled slightly as I took out the money but a photo dropped. 

She immediately bend down and picked it up and handed it to me. 

I saw that she was kind of struggling with the food so I took the boxes and place it on the counter top. 

"Yeah,  kind of." She let out an awkward smile. 

"It's fine," I let out an assuring smile when I went back to her. 

"Here's your change" she gave me the 5$ note and we made eye contact. 

I froze and she did too. 

I tried to speak but words doesn't seem to come out. 

"What a coincidence right?" She rubbed the back of her neck. 

"Look,  Jin,  I can explain" she placed her hand out in front of her as if trying to calm me down. 

I didn't say a word. 

I immediately walked towards her and touch her cheeks as if making sure this was real. 

Once I saw her face soften,  I instantly embrace her.

She was obviously shocked by my action but immediately responded by putting her hands around my waist. 

"I miss you so much" I place my chin on her shoulder.  She didn't say a word but I could feel that she hugged me tighter. 

I knew she missed me too. 

I felt water coming down my cheeks and landed on her shoulder. 

"Joohyun..." I trailed off.

It's been 2 years without her warmth,  since I called her name and looking at her. 

After a while,  we both let go and I wipe off my tear. 

"I have to go, Jin." She turn back but I immediately held onto her wrist. 

"You're leaving me again?"

"I'll come back.  I promise." With those words,  she left. 

I felt as if she wouldn't come back and my second chance with her was gone just like that.
