3rd pov.

Realising he wasn't, she quickly started looking for more guns in hopes that this new kid could be related to her target.

Meanwhile, Minkyung was busy taking out a packet of cookies and 2 cups of milk.

He was smiling while preparing the late-night snack.

The thought of her staying overnight kept replaying in his head.

He knew he had a crush on her but still couldn't accept that fact.

Bringing the snack up to his room, he look in through the ajar door.

He saw Yeri desperately looking through his room.

She was using a chair and tried to pry open the ceiling.

He was shocked.

The gun he had hid a few hours ago could expose his identity.

He quickly swing open the door and stared at her.

She widen her eyes, looked at me while barely touching the celing.

"What are you doing?" He tilted his head, trying to act dumb.

"Nothing, just seeing if it was dusty." She let out an awkward smile and immediately came down.

"Cookies" he put the plate on the table and took one.

"Ooo these are my favourite." She exclaim while bitting it.

"Thanks for the cookies. I should be going back now." She said.

"Oh."

"You should sleep early. School starts in 3 hours." She patted his shoulder and left through the window.

He went forward and lock the window, drawing the curtains as well.

He check behind the table and let out a sigh of relief seeing the object.

Taking the chair, he stood up and adjusted the hidden compartment, making sure it wasn't obvious.

"I have to be careful of her." He rub the back of his neck before playing another round on his gaming console.

His phone vibrated and he glance at it to see a message from her. He paused his game and look to see who was his next target.

Lee Junhyung

A few seconds later, an address came up.

He sigh at the though of it.

He took out his hoodie from his closet and his gun from the bedside table.

Hiding it in his pocket, he went out of the house.

(Next day)

Yeri pov.

After school, I had a sudden craving for ice cream.

"Minkyung! Do you want to get some ice cream?" I said as I saw him walking towards the school gate.

"Sorry Yeri, not today, I have to rush" he quickly said and ran off.

I scratch my head in confusion.

Is he still that awkward around me?

I shrugged off that though and just decided to grab a bubble tea on the way home.
