Chapter 4- 'Ice, Bank, Mice, Elf'

"what the hell do you want?" i growled at him with my hands on my hips scanning him for answers but he just stared at me with his big green eyes

"are you going to speak to me or just stare because there are much better places i'd rather be" i stated tapping my foot against the floor impatiently, i know i'm being bitchy but can you blame me? I'm still not over the whole greeting he gave me and to be honest i don't think i will. He just stared so i huffed and started to make my way inside again

"i'm sorry" he mumbled catching me by the wrist just as i was stepping inside, i looked at him blank

"Your sorry?" i laughed coldly " Your sorry about what? the fact that i begged you not to? or you knew i was scared? or was it that niall was the one who pulled me out when i almost died hu?"

"i-i.."

"Yeah i thought so harry, But you know what harry it doesn't matter because i am having nothing to do with you" i said pointing my finger into his chest then walked away

"oh and harry" i said looking back " i will get my revenge" and with that i walked away leaving him speechless and it felt good.

"What the hell Ollie?" i said wiping the tears from my eyes where i'd been crying with laughter walking to class with Oliver. We'd just had a french lesson but instead of actually speaking french i'd gotten him and others to say ' ice, bank, mice ,elf' and if you say it out loud you know what it says,anyway Oliver not being the brightest spark didnt get it and was now going up to random people saying it really loud in their faces which scared them but made them laugh at what he was saying.

"i still don't get it!" Ollie huffed folding his arms frowning

"okay  i c e- b a n k -m i c e -e l f" i said slowly but he just looked more confused

"i spank myself!" i exclaimed loudly making everybody look at me, realising this i start to blush when Ollie bursts out in laughter

"i knew what it meant really!" he chuckles leaning on me trying to hide his laughter in my shoulder but i just shrug it off

"jerk!" i said playfully slapping as we carried on down the hallway seeing Niall halfway down

"NIALLER" i bellow running up to him in my heels with Ollie following

"Yo man" Ollie says hi-fiving him leaning on my shoulder once again

"you alright?" i say hugging him

"Yeah just going to get some milkshakes, you two up to it?" he asks looking at his phone and i just nod pulling myself away from him

"right, i'll meet you there then i need to go to get louis from the library? silly string or something?" he says pulling a face before heading off to the library.

'One Cherry bomb and chocolate and One Vanilla and maple syrup swirl coming up' The kind waitress giggled at oliver who was completely ignoring her, poor girl she only looked about fifteen too. I looked over at the glass doors to see the blonde irish boy walk in followed by louis who was covered in silly string.

Once they'd sat down i looked at louis questioning why he was covered in rainbow colours

"Dont ask" niall said rolling his eyes at louis who was throwing the sting at me. when the waitress came back over we ordered niall a double chocolate oreo crunch and suprise suprise louis a carrot cream which they'd only put on the menu for him because he pestered the cook for two whole weeks before he gave up, I nudged oliver pointing to the waitress who was staring at him " she obviously fancies you! go for it soldier" i whispered but he just shrugged and pointed to his phone

"I got a better offer" said oliver standing up "Pepper Lorenzo" he said smugly before walking out of the milkshake shop. Pepper is a girl with strawberry blonde hair who is in our maths class, she's shy but i know she's a nice girl her and Ollie will make such a cute couple.

The milkshakes arrived and the waitress looked around confused

"will your friend be coming back?" she asked still looking around

"No love" i told her, she stopped looking and looked down sadly instead then hurried off

Louis was getting his milkshake everywhere which was bright orange might i add, he had orange streaks running through his hair and all around his mouth.

"you have some on your face by your mouth" i said pointing it out to him, he wiped the tinyist piece at the coner of his mouth

"gone?" he asked

"umm.. sure" i replied laughing as he began to walk over to a table where an old lady sat and  hit him over the head with her bag

"shes mean i was asking her where she got her lovely hat from" louis said sitting back down

"louis thats her hair!" niall exclaimed laughing his head off, louis just looked at me sheepishly

i began wondering what goes on in louis' head; carrots, carrots, carrots, carrots, carrots and more carrots probably i thought laughing.

"Sorry I'm late guys" a voice says breaking me out of my little daydream, green eyes curls, not good.

I just stare at him in amaze what the hell? did i make myself not clear that want nothing to do with him? i just looked at the boys who were looking straight down at the table, ah it was them? i suppose he is their friend though. Harry sat down on the couch next to me so i moved up to the very end but the couch was only small so our knees were nearly touching. Great.

It was actually quite fun chatting with the boys well..niall and louis anyway harry got the cold shoulder from me. I was sipping the last of my cherry blast and chocolate milkshake when my phone began to ring ' Swag, swag swag on-' 'LOU' louis screamed to my ringtone, laughing i answered

"hey there" i answered the phone

"OH EM GEE Alli is that you?" a voice screamed down my phone, that voice was my best friend sapphire

"SAPPH!? IS THAT YOU!?" i almost screamed down the phone

"Oh yes! its me! you don't know what ive been through trying to get your number anyway i'm so glad i found you..where the hell have you been!" she squealed down the phone as i fought the tears that were threatening to pour down my cheeks, i'd hadnt been able to say goodbye to her before i left, i never thought i'd see her again.

"It's a long story sapph (A/N: Pronounced saff) i'm in london at the moment" i said down the phone as the boys stare at me suspiciously but who cared?

"Really?! you've gone back home? why? i thought you liked it here in california? well i suppose with your london accent you did sound funny but thats why i loved you, Come home!" she babbled on

"shh.. i can't things are weird at the moment and i'm living with my uncle right now things are um..difficult" i managed to say cutting her off but once i said it she went silent

"your not coming home?" she questioned sadly and i could almost see her sad eyes looking at me

"no...listen i'll talk to you later okay? this must be costing you a fortune"

"o-okay" she mumbled hanging up, i felt so guilty and my milkshake didn't taste so sweet anymore

"Who was that?" asked louis

"nobody..just nobody" i sighed walking out of the milkshake shop, as i looked around i realised something.

i miss home.
