It's been six months since the discovery of the alien race and five since the war started. Thomas Norm, a talk show host who inherited millions of dollars since the war started, owned a talk show in New York. His guests that day were Jessica James, a scientist who speaks for the aliens, and Luke Mason, a senator who speaks against them.

Thomas: So, Luke, what you're saying is that there is no way to make peace with the new species?

Luke: Well, to be honest, Tom, any possibility of peace is futile. If these creatures wanted to, they could kill us in an instant. That's why they have to be exterminated.

Jessica: If the aliens wanted the human race extinct, they could've killed us while they were hiding here. Since the discovery of their existence, there were reports revealing their presence since the 50s.

Thomas: It's a valid point, Jessica. Now, Luke, is there any reason why the aliens would wait this long to wage war?

Luke: The time to create an army is not much quicker then building Rome. The aliens that were captured during the war have much common motives. They want revenge, they're just as much keen on kill or be killed, they believe world domination is the only way.

Jessica: Tom, this is why the protestors call it the genocide war. Unlike past wars, it's not humans fighting humans, but one species killing another.

Luke: The protestors are traitors to their own race.

Jessica: Luke, exactly what  are we fighting for? Is it for our protection or we just trying to remain the dominate species on earth?

Thomas: That's a good question, Jessica. I'm sure you'll get your answer next week. Speaking of which, we will have a another visitor, Teasa Crowles, the hybrid resident of Georgia. I am Thomas Norm and this is the war talk.

A half hour later, Thomas stepped inside his car. Luke stood beside it and knocked on the driver's window. Thomas lowered it down, staring at the senator.

Thomas: May I help you, senator?

Luke: They say you're too rich to be just a talk show host.

Thomas: Well, most of my money were made from that show.

Luke: Indeed, they were. I need help from someone of your wealth.

Thomas: Name it.

Luke: You mentioned your next guest as a hybrid. You have to understand my concern for human safety.

Thomas: Ok?

Luke: I need some of your money to hire an assassin to take her out.

Thomas' eyes widened.

Thomas: On live television?

Luke: It will send a message to our enemies. That we will not tolerate the mixing of both species.

Thomas: This one doesn't seem to be dangerous. She doesn't even seem to be part of the Alien Revolution.

Luke: I know the woman's past. Doesn't make her our friend. Think about it.

Luke left the scene, leaving Thomas trembling.

Thomas entered his multi-million dollar mansion, seeing his pregnant wife, Samantha Norm, sitting on the soft red couch reading the newspaper.

Thomas: Hi, honey.

Samantha: Hey, baby.

They shared a brief kiss. Thomas sat beside her.

Samantha: I must say, Thomas, you were great on that show.

Thomas: Yeah. I guess I was.

Thomas revealed a sad expression.

Samantha: What's wrong, honey?

Thomas: If someone told you to pick a side, but either one wants to kill the other, what would you do?

His wife hesitated to answer.

Samantha: I would do the right thing, regardless of other's opinions.

Thomas looked away.

The next mourning, Thomas walked toward his car and saw Jessica standing beside it.

Thomas: I'm guessing Luke isn't the only one who needs a favor.

Jessica: Luke wants to destroy a race he barely even know. If we're going to fight the aliens, we should at least consider diplomacy first.

Thomas: What, you need my money for some alien charity or something?

Jessica: Yes.

Thomas stared wide-eyed.

Luke arrived at Thomas's wardrobe room. The tv host noticed him standing behind.

Luke: Tom, Have you--

Thomas: I'm not giving you what you want.

Luke: Excuse me?

Thomas: You may condone genocide, but I don't. I've decided to give my money to the alien support charity.

Luke: You're going to betray your own race.

Thomas: It's not betrayal. It's peace. Now if you excuse me, I have a show to do.

He left the room, leaving Luke with an aguish expression. He entered the stage, staring happily at Jeny.
