"Why do they keep looking at me like that, Aria?"

"They still think you killed her, Harry."

All the students kept looking at Harry and his friend Aria as they walked through the school corridor for the first time after their summerbreak.

Obviously everyone knew about Bella's death already. It wasn't much of a wonder - Birmingham was a small city in Michigan with a population below 3000 people and only one high school - much to Harry's dislike.

Everybody blamed Harry for Bella Willows death, because he had been her ex boyfriend and Bella died a month after Harry and her broke up because sombody set the barn she and Lucas - the boy she was seeing then - on fire and Bella died in the flames while Lucas was able to get away from the barn in time.

Every single person in Birmingham blamed Harry, every person but Aria. She had been Bella's best friend and she knew how much Bella meant to Harry but she also knew something nobody else knew about - Harry had an alibi for the night Bella died, but nobody could ever know about that.

Harry kept looking down, he couldn't stand looking at the people surrounding him, everybody accused him to be a killer in his own hometown.

"Why isn't this freak locked up yet?" one of the popular kids suddenly screamed and Aria went up to him and said:"Why's there no evidence that he killed her, smartypants? Oh right, because he did not do it, freak."

Aria returned to Harry, grabbed his arm and said:"Don't let them bring you down. We both know the truth and Caleb will have to talk about what really happened that night eventually."

Harry nodded and quietly made his way over to algebra class he had to attend all alone since Aria had science first.
