Chapter 15: Telling Fionna

* Marshall lee's POV*

I woke up next to Gumball. Visions of last night flew through my mind. I stared at Gumball, at his sleeping gummy face. Then his eyes began to slowly open

Marshall: Good morning gummie.

Gumball: Good morning.

For a few minutes there was silence. Then Gumball started talking.

Gumball: Well today there's a meeting in the Congressional Hall.

Marshall: Shouldn't I be able to come, I am a King.

Gumball: No, Congressional Hall is for people that own land. You are a King, but you don't rule land. The Congressional Hall is for two thing. The annual back rubbing ceremony, and for the meeting about the laws in The Land if Aaa.

Marshall: Fine, I didn't want to go anyways, sounds boring.

Gumball: It is.

Marshall: I thought you love things like that, smart stuff like that.

Gumball: Well I do, but at this meeting, all of Aaa's royalty fight because they disagree with everyone else's laws.

Marshall: That would be funny to watch all of Aaa's royalty fight.

Gumball: Not fighting, just yelling and it's not funny.

Marshell: Well them.

I got quiet for a second.

Marshall: Hey gummie.

Gumball: Yea?

Marshall: Maybe we should tell Fionna about us.

Gumball: What makes you say that?

Marshall: Well....she is one of our best friends.

Gumball: Do you think so?

Marshall: Yea, it will be fine.

Gumball: Ok?!

Marshall: When should we tell her.

Gumball: Well I don't see why not tomorrow.

Marshall: Ok.

*Gumball's POV*

I really hope she's ok with our relationship. She has liked me for the longest time. I got out of bed, still naked from last night. I went over to the bathroom an turned on the shower for a fast shower. After the shower I went over to the bed where Marshall was still laying.

Gumball: Are you going to join me for breakfast?

Marshall: No, I'm gonna go to my house and make sure that it's "clean".

Gumball: Ok.

I leaned over the bed and kiss Marshall the I headed for the kitchen. When I got there the maids had everything ready for breakfast.

Peppermint Maid: Will Marshall be joining you this morning?

Gumball: No, he's going to head home and make sure his house it still together.

*Marshall's POV*

After Gumball headed to the kitchen, I got up and put my cloths on and I'm going to do what I said I would, check on my house. When I got home everything seemed fine so I go my bass axe and practiced a little. The my phone started to ring.

Marshall: Speak

Gumball: I think we should tell Fionna today.

Marshall: Are you sure?

Gumball: Marshall, if we don't tell her now I'll feel bad, because we can tell her anything. I'm on my way to their house I'll meet you there ok?

Marshall: Now?!?! Ok

Wow, first he asks me if we should tell her, now he wants to tell her today. Ok? I grabbed my hat and gloves to protect me from sun. I locked the door and was on my way to Fionna's house.When I got there Gumball was on the front doorstep waiting for me.

Marshall: Hey gummie. Have you been waiting long?

Gumball: No, your ok, are you ready.

Marshall: I'm ready if you are.

Gumball: Ok

He lined in and knocked on the door. It took a moment for cake to reach the door.

Cake: Hey, did Fionna call you guy over here?

Both: No

Cake: Well come on in.

We walked inside and up to the living room. Gumball and I stood in front of Fionna and Cake:

Gumball: Can we have a serious talk with you guys?

Fionna & Cake: Yea! What's this about.

Marshall: Well I'd just like to tell you..... it's been going on for a couple days now.......me and Gumball are dating.

*Gumball's POV*

It was quiet for a moment. Will she be ok with it?

Fionna: That's....great... I'm happy for you guys.

It was kind of awkward.

Gumball: Are you fine with us dating?

Fionna: Yea! hey you guys are happy right?

Both: Right

Fionna: That's all that matters.

Marshall: Well thank you Fionna. We didn't want to hide it from you because we felt we can trust you and tell you everything.

Fionna: Yeah and you can.

Gumball: Well I've got to get going. I have a meeting in the Congressional Hall for the royal meeting of Aaa.

Fionna: Ok well I'll see you guys later.

She walked us to the door and we said our good byes and left. I went to the Congressional Hall for the royal meeting of Aaa. Marshall look like he was heading to the Candy Kingdom. It's basically his second home. Marshall have me a kiss the we went our separate ways.
