Chapter 31 : Taking on The Nightosphere

*Gumball's POV*

     "Well, we should get going." Marshall stood up from the bed and wiped his face of his tears. "We should see how Liz is doing with the laws and handle the chaos that's happening there," he continued.

     "What about the Nightosphere? What about the people here, your people?" I questioned him knowing that he forgot about his responsibility.

     "Oh," a look of realisation was written across his face. He brought his eyes up to meet mine. A look of fear was filling his pupils. "What do I do?" You could hear the uncertainty in his voice.

"Don't worry, I know just the person who knows how to run a kingdom."

"Who?"

"ME!!! Oh my glab." Marshall just stared at me with a goofy smile on his face. "What?" I chucked.

"Nothing, it's just....you're amazing my love." I could feel my cheeks being flooded with a bright shade of red.

     "Okay, let's go," I laugh and begin walking towards Marshall.

     "Where are we going?" He questioned.

     "We need to claim the Nightosphere. Where is your mom's office?"

     Um, this way." He lead me in the direction of the office.

     He walked me to a double door and twisted the doorknob. He walked me in and spun me around in the big office.

     "Okay so first we have to talk to the staff of the castle and the board of leaders that helped your mother or in other words, people that were loyal to her." Marshall looked at me with lustful eyes. "What?"

     "I can't focus on anything right now besides your body." You hear the hunger in his voice.

     "Marshall, we can't do that right now. We have to make sure the kingdom is taken care of."

     "I'm pretty sure the Nightosphere can handle its self for a few hours." I blushed a little just thinking about how long he was planning on doing it.

     "No Marshall! We can't." His eyes saddened and he just looked so disappointed. "Marshall.....I promise that when we get this kingdom under control, you can do whatever you want to me." His eyes filled with excitement, which kind of scared me but I promised. Plus I like when he's in charge.

     "OKAY!!" He practically jumped ten feet into the air. "What's first my love?"

     "Call all the staff of the castle. Any that are loyal to her we get rid of."

     Marshall looked at the dog like creature and commanded it, "Nian, call the staff." Nian let out a howl louder than any howl I have ever heard. Then within seconds staff began to fill the room. There were so may workers that most of them had to stand out in the hall.

     I looked over at Marshall, "How do we do this?" Marshall thought about it for a second then something clicked.

     He walked over to the desk, that was in the center of the office, and opened at drawer pulling out what looked like two pictures. He walked back over and looked at the mob of workers with a questioning expression on his face.
