Unconditional

Chapter 9

Elena's Point of view.

Alice picked me up from my house to take us to lunch. We stopped at a mexican restaurant in London. This was apparently one of the local hang outs for our school. We take a seat by the window. Our waitress comes by and hands us our menu's and chips. 

"So you know what is weird?" I ask Alice.

"Hmm?" She says looking at her menu. 

"It's about Harry." She looked up from her menu to me. "Well that got your attention." I giggle. 

"Spill." 

"He like apologized yesterday." 

"Harry actually did that? I told him he should have, but I don't think he would have."

"Wait you said something to him?" 

"Yeah, why was I not suppose ? I am so sorry Elena." She puts her head in her hands.

"No, no it's fine! Now it might be less awkward now." 

"Thank god, I thought you were mad at me for a second." She puts her hand to her chest.

"No I would never." I say

Our waitress returns to our table to take our order. I order the chicken soup, as always. Once our waitress leaves we continue talking.

"Oh my god!" Alice squeals. I jump from my chair.

"Holy shit Alice you scared me!" 

"I am sorry, but you are never going to believe this!" 

"What is it?" I am now really curious to what she is reading on her phone. 

"My roommate has two tickets to see Ed tonight! She can't go anymore and she said we could take them!" 

"Don't we have school tomorrow? I don't want to be tired in class though." 

"Elena! It will be fine! You are nineteen years old! You have to live a little before you get old! It's an Ed concert, not a mosh pit. Let's go pleaseeee!" I mean, it did sound really fun. We even got two free tickets..

"Fine. Let's go!" 

"Ah yes! It's going to be so fun tonight! We have to look smoking hot too." She says.

"Hhahah okay, I am not looking like a hooker."

"Elena, I would never let you leave the house looking like one. I got your back." 

"Fine. Okay." I said in a huff.

Alice and I go check the local stores down the street. I found some really cool vinyls I couldn't wait to play. 

"Alice! Elena!"  I hear someone yelling from behind us. We turn around and I notice that it's Niall. He waves to us and we wave back. We move to the side to wait for him to catch up. 

"Hey guys! What's up?" He asks us. 

"Just shopping, you know girl stuff."

"Nice." 

"Hey are you going to the Ed concert tonight?" Alice asks Niall. 

"Yeah, well I am not, sure but I think I am going. Why are you guys going?"

"Yes!" I say

"Awesome! Maybe we will see each other" He says this while he was looking to me. I feel like he meant to say it to me.

"Yeah that would be cool."

"Great! Well I have to get to the gym. I will see you guys tonight!" He waves goodbye and crosses the road.
