12- Mother Coming Back

I woke up to see the girls dressed and ready and Natsu still asleep. I yawned, depressingly and got ready for the day. Now all we had to do was wait on Natsu to wake up.

"It's almost 11am and if Natsu doesn't wake up sooner, we'll have to interrupt his beauty sleep." Mira chuckled.

"I can do that right now if you guys want." I said with a laugh.

"There's no need, I'm up..." Natsu yawned.

"Good, now hurry up and get ready." Erza said as he got out of bed and got ready.

Even though we were all dressed and ready for the day, we still looked depressed as hell. As we walked our way to the cafe we'd see a girl looking like Lucy, just older. The lady seemed to notice us as well and to the girls, she seemed familiar.

"L-Layla? It that you?!" Mira said in shock.

"Yes, it's me." The lady responded, smiling, "I've missed you all, " She added.

"Where have you been?!" Yukino asked.

"I had to hide from Jude for a while and also hide from something else but that's another story to await. Anyways, where's my little princess at?" Layla asked as everyone else got a more depressing look on their faces.

"She's in the hospital." Mira sighed.

"What?! Why?!" Layla asked, jumping up.

Mira and Erza would explain everything that happened over the past few months and Layla almost broke down crying.

"My poor baby..." she mumbled, "but thank you for helping her....." she said, forcing a smile.

"We can go see if she's awake once we get her other friends that helped out." Yukino smiled as Layla nodded.

We'd continue to walk to the cafe as we noticed Juvia and her friends outside of the school, looking shocked.

"Hey! Juvia! What are you doing there?!" I yelled since she was far away.

"Come here!!! Quick!" Cana yelled back as we all ran to see what was wrong.

"What is it?" Wendy asked.

"We found a note here..." Juvia mumbled, handing it to Erza.

"I'm suspecting you found this note correctly and right where I had left it. But I thought I'd tell you something, since I've been taken away. There's someone else lurking in the school to finish our job. Good luck. ~Rouge" Erza read out loud.

"There's no way in hell im letting anyone touch Lucy.." Natsu mumbled, pissed.

"Natsu, calm down, we won't let anyone touch Lucy or a Juvia." Erza said.

"Yeah, he forgot about Juvia." I laughed. "Don't worry Natsu, we all know you like Lucy." I added, laughing.

Natsu blushed and yelled "shut up!"

I continued to laugh along with the others. Layla even slightly laughed as well.

"Hope you know you just said that in front of Lucy's mother." Mira chuckled.

"Oh well, she would have found out sooner or later." I chuckled.

"I could already tell." Layla chuckled.

"That's a secret officially revealed." Wendy chuckled.

"Now, shall we go check on that friends of yours. Lucy, right?" Laxus asked.
