16 - Defeating An Enemy

I got up and pulled out all of my keys.

"Lucy! You almost died doing that last time!" Natsu yelled.

"I know what I'm doing!" I responded, throwing all of my keys into the air as they began glowing.

"Star dresses, come to me.." I mumbled, having a beam of light from each key coming into me.

Soon, my keys fell back into my hands. I then transformed into my Aquarius Star Dress, ready to fight despite my injuries.

"Loke! You're not fighting alone!" I spoke loudly, concentrating all of my magic energy into one blow.

Soon I had built up enough energy and I was ready to perform the Aqua Metria spell.

"Loke!" I shouted him, giving him a signal.

He nodded and stepped out of the way.

"AQUA METRIA!!" I yelled, hitting Zeref.

I quickly changed into my Loke Star Dress and hit Zeref a few more times. Soon, Zeref was knocked out and defeated.

"Did she just defeat Zeref?!" Ultear said in shock as she appeared from thin air.

"Now I see why he wants you dead!" She yelled, disappearing before I could attack her.

My clothes changed back to regular and I collapsed, breathing heavily.

"Lucy!!" Natsu panicked, running to me.

I didn't realise until now that the stab wound had gotten severely worse and I lost a lot of blood.

"Lucy! Speak to me!" Natsu raised his voice, holding me.

"I-I'm fine.." I said weakly.

Layla walked over to me and healed my leg but couldn't recover my lost blood to help me balance. She also healed my neck from where Zeref cut me earlier.

"Take her home, she'll need rest. It should be about 7:00am, I'll call her in sick. You guys can go to school, I'll watch over her." Layla spoke.

"Alright." Erza nodded as Levy woke up.

"W-Where's Lucy?" She asked, waking up.

"Lucy's fine, let's head home and get ready for school." Erza smiled as Loke teleported us all to our homes.

Natsu placed me in my bed and sighed, hoping I'd be alright.

"Don't worry, Natsu, Layla's got this." Gray said with a smile while putting a hand on his shoulder.

Natsu nodded and walked to the other room with Gray and got dressed. Soon after, Erza and Gray left and waited for Natsu outside. Layla was currently in the other room, calling me in sick. Natsu walked to me and sighed.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine," I smiled, "if anything happens just text me," He sighed.

I nodded with a reassuring smile.

"You better go now before you're late." I chuckled.

Natsu leaned towards me and kissed my forehead.

"Be safe." He smiled, walking out and heading to school.

"Cute." Layla mumbled.

"Y-You saw that?!" I spat out, not realising she was here.

"You two are so cute, but that's the least of your worries right now, get some rest." She chuckled.

I nodded, getting comfortable and soon falling asleep.
