20 - A New Day

I woke up to my alarm ringing rapidly. I sighed and turned it off, yawning and getting ready for school. I walked downstairs to see Sting was already ready.

"You slept in a little, We better hurry if you're going to school." Sting laughed, grabbing mine and his stuff along with my hand and running off.

We eventually reached to school, where I saw everyone smiling.

"Hey girls!" I called out as Levy, Wendy, Mira, Lisanna, and Yukino rushed over and hugged me.

"We're so glad you're safe!" Wendy smiled.

"We heard about everything!" Levy pointed out.

"You've really grown." Mira smiled. They all let go of me and smiled.

"Yeah, especially about Sting being your brother." Lisanna chuckled.

"I don't know if we will be able to entirely forgive you, Sting, but you saved Lucy's life and we are really grateful for that, so thank you." Mira smiled.

Afterwards we all head to class and took our seats, thankfully our life was finally normal.

{TIME SKIP: AFTER SCHOOL}

"I can't wait for the party!" Wendy said excited.

"Me neither! I'm so glad it's Friday too!" Lisanna smiled.

"Everyone, the party will be at our house, I've already sent out the invitations." Erza said, handing us all a paper with information on it.

"Remember, tomorrow night at 11pm." Erza smiled, walking off with the others.

"This party seems like fun." Sting commented.

"Well knowing them they'll go all out." I chuckled.

We arrived at our house, setting our stuff down.

"I bet you two will have lots of fun tomorrow." Layla smiled.

"And I'm sure Luuuccy here will have a nice 'New Years Kiss'." Sting laughed.

"Oh shut it you!" I blushed.

"Hehe." Sting chuckled, patting my head and messing up my hair.

"Ok you can stop torturing your sister now, Sting." Layla smiled.

Sting stopped, smiling innocently. I quickly fixed my hair back up, sighing.

"You two better go find some outfits now." Layla chuckled, handing us some money.

"M-Mom you really don't have to" I began, getting interrupted by my mother.

"Oh shush, you're both over 18, or is currently 18, and deserve to have fun after what all has happened." Layla interrupted, smiling.

That reminded me, Sting was a few years older than me and you should get out of school at 18. It just lead me to the conclusion that either he had gotten held back or started school later.

"Alright then! Come on Lucy!" Sting chuckled, grabbing my hand and running out.

{TIME SKIP: ARRIVING AT THE STORE}
