Kiki POV.

I tuned my guitar and was about to go to the next song. I was pleased on how well the guitar case was being filled. Ai guarded it from greedy thieves, but even so, who would be afraid of a little dog?

Just to be on the safe side, I put my guitar down and signaled for Ai to bring me the money. She pushed the guitar case hard with her nose, sending it sliding over the dirt floors over to me. It tapped my foot, and stopped. I reached in and took out everything, counting and  folding the money. I put it in my weapon holster on my thigh and pushed the guitar case back to Ai with my foot, kicking it softly towards her, she stopped it with her nose, and sat down next to it.

I began strumming, trying to find the correct cord, I found it. Then went onto the next one, until I found it. I tested transitioning those chords and when I felt comfortable I began.

The crowd grew, surrounding me, Ai, and the stone fountain.

“This is the way you left me,

I’m not pretending,

No hope, no love, no glory,

No happy ending,

This is the way that we love,

Like it's forever,

And live the rest of our lives,

But not together,

Wake up in the morning stumble on my life,

Can’t get no love without sacrifice,

If anything should happen,

I guess i wish you well,

Hmm, a little bit of heaven, and a little bit of hell.

This is the hardest story,

I have ever told,

No hope or love or glory,

Happy endings,

Gone forever more,

I feel as if I’m wasted,

And I'm wastin' everyday,

This is the way you left me,

I'm not pretending.

Nohope, no love, no glory,

No Happy Ending.

This is the way that we love,

Like it's forever.

Then live the rest of our life,

But not together. “

I finished early, not remembering the rest of the words, I never really played out in the Grass Village, because everybody knew me, nobody gave me money, I only played for entertainment, or when out on missions. That was where I got my income, I wasn’t paid for missions. People threw in money, little by little until it was filled. From the corner of my eye I could see Kiba and Akamaru, they were watching me. I looked at my hands, to see they were burning. The skin on my fingers were red and blistering. I frowned. I swore I got over the blister phase long ago. Was it because I wasn’t able to play the Guitar for a few days? Frowning I clenched my fist, the pain burned even more, sending shocks up my arm. I sighed. Standing up with a smile on my face. I bowed.
