Underneath Bindings [Kiba] {DISCONTINUED}

Chapter 5

I stood next to Kiba in shock, now out of the closet.

"Excuse me?" I asked with a bit of a glare.

"I..I said I want to go on a date with your.. daughter?" Akamaru was now hesitant and getting quieter.

"What was that? Speak up, I can't hear you, I'm not sure if my ear is acting up again, or its you." Kiba gave me a glare, but he didnt understand what I was doing.

If Akamaru really wanted to date Ai, then he has to be loud and proud of it. He has to be strong enough to scream it out, he shouldn't be intimidated by the thought of asking me, he should stand up to me. However still respect me.

What if somebody was going to attack them in battle, would he be strong enough to protect her? Or perhaps another animal threatens her, would he stand up for her?

I'm quite sure this is how a loveing parent should act. At least that is what my instincts tell me.

"I would like to go on a date with your daughter." Akamaru barked loudly, shutting his eyes and looking down glaring at the ground.

"Is that so?" I glanced at Ai who whimpered at me quietly, seeming to beg. I sighed and dropped the angry act, and brought back my indiffrent facade. "Alright then, you may. I respect you for asking me first. It shows true courage and respect to me and our family." 

Akamaru looked up and began wagging his tail. "Really?"

I smiled a little. "Yes, really." I said simply. He barked happily and ran up to Ai.

"Ai. Would you like to go out on a date with me?!" Akamaru asked loudly wagging his tail happily. 

She nodded her head happily and he barked and ran around her in a circle. "Great!" He said and rolled around on the floor happily. I rolled my eyes.

"I must chaporone." I spoke and Akamaru whined, his ears moving down sadly.

"You can't just chaparone a date." Kiba said, crossing his arms.

"Oh? And why is that?" I asked, smirking.

"Because if you're going to chaparone, then I might aswell do it to."

"Fine."

"Fine."

"It's a date then." I said shrugging.

"H-Huh?" Kiba asked looking alarmed.

"I said. It's a date. Akamaru and Ai. Duh." I sighed, rolling my eye. "Pick us up at 7 tomorow."  

"What?" Kiba asked once again. 

"You heared me." I said and held my hands out for Ai. She leaped into my arms and licked my cheek. 

"Oh thank you!" She barked. I smiled and pet her softly.

"Anything for you, love. Come on, let's go back home." I said and she barked with a smile. I looked to Kiba. "Goodnight, I will see you later." He raised his arm in a feeble attempt to wave as I left.

As the night drew on I let Ai rest, leaving her a new chew toy. I got up and left the house, hopping onto the roof, and went from roof to roof; traveling around. I could feel ANBU following me around, trying to see what I was up to, though I just left them alone. I began heading to the Giant Hokage building

I barely made it to the window of his office, scramblng to climb in. I had almost fallen. Wow. How stupid. 

"Hello, Kiki. What brings you here?" The woman asked. I stared at her for a moment, thinking. "Kiki-?"

"Did any mail come recently? I didnt get my letters." I spoke calmly.

"Oh yes." The woman nodded, taking out a letter. I took it into my hands and opened it up, I dropped it after processing the words.

"What?"

"Thats right Kiki.. The Author has decided to drop your story. You're dead now."
