"Good morning, Miss," Charlie, one of the blonde's employees greeted her.

"Morning," Some of the people who heard her, gasped. Some had their eyes widened and some even needed to blink a couple of times. It's like, a miracle came down from heaven when they heard their boss answer one of them back. It was short, yes, but the blonde isn't one who replies to them.

The blonde's face remained serious though and she didn't mind the whispers from her employees even if she knows that they're talking about her. She just simply walked past them and entered her office.

"Looks like you're in a good mood today, Edwards," Harry told Perrie as he entered her office as well. Usually, even if it's still early in the morning, the blonde would always have a dull and scary look on her face and would always roll her eyes at Harry. But today seemed to be an exception.

Perrie didn't bother to answer him and just started to type away on her laptop. The curly-haired lad just shrugged.

"Oh yeah, here are the papers you were asking me yesterday." And he handed her the papers and folders that he was holding. "Ally also mentioned to me that, our sales have lessened for the past three months. We've compared them to last year's sales and the difference was really big. We lost almost...two hundred million dollars." The lad said. "One more thing, our investor, Mister Hemmings, the one you had a meeting with back in New York? He's taking his shares back. He said that he doesn't want to invest in our company anymore. Even some of our investors here have backed out as well."

"I know," Harry's jaw dropped. With all the things he just revealed to her, all he got was a simple 'I know'?

'Is she losing her mind?' He asked himself.

"How can you be so calm when the company is slowly going downhill?" He asked her. He still couldn't believe that when their company is slowly falling down, the blonde remained relaxed, like she didn't care if her company would shut down completely soon.

"Don't worry, I can handle it," Perrie said, calmly.

"...fine," Harry said, convinced that the blonde will do her best to save the company. He trusts her because he knows her too well. She could handle and fix everything getting in her way. Which is why it made the lad wonder of what might be the reason for the sudden change of their sales. "But Per, do you know the reason to all of this?"

"Someone's competing with us and I know that they want to turn our company down."

"And who would do that? I mean, we are a strong company after all. I bet that whoever is behind all of this has the power to compete with you."

"Of course they have. TCE was the most powerful company here in Europe. They can bring us down if they want to. But I won't allow it." She said firmly.

"TCE, huh?" Harry said, trying his best to remember where did he hear that before. And when he realized where, his eyes widened. "You mean...Thirlwall Enterprises and Corporation?" He said, not believing the fact that one of the most poweful company are competing against them. "But Perrie, do you know that they're just second place in the ranking of the most powerful and rich company here in the UK and the whole Europe?"

And the blonde just shrugged. She knew what was TCE's reason for trying to bring them down but she won't spill the beans to her friend yet, not until she has an evidence.

"Speaking of TCE, James Thirlwall, the CEO? He just arranged an appointment with you." Perrie looked at the lad. She didn't expect for James to talk to him so soon. 'What is he planning?' She asked herself.

"Just text me the details."

"Okay, oh and by the wa-----" But Harry didn't even had the chance to finish what he was about to say because the blonde held her finger up, shushing him as her phone rang. He swore that he saw Perrie tensed and blush before answering the call. He already knew who it was.
