Hello! This is Mary Ruth / Mariane Reign from 2021. That is, the version of me 12 years from the time I wrote this story. Hehe.
Race Me to Your Heart was written and published in 2009. I was fifteen and was in the cusps of discovering the world and myself. I have mixed emotions about putting up my old novels online as I don't think my writing voice 12 years ago still exists now that I am 27. Pero natutuwa ako kapag naririnig ko sa mga readers na kasabay nila -- namin-- nagdalaga yung mga stories ko and re-reading them offers a unique sense of nostalgia. Kaya nag-decide ako na okay lang din siguro na i-upload ko sila since wala na naman yatang on sale na novels ko online.
If you are a new reader and are just beginning to read my novels, please know that this was written by a fifteen year-old trying to think like an adult. Hehe. My published stories weren't as complex and as well-explained as I want them now but I hope you can still find entertainment in them.
Hindi ko po masisiguro na magugustuhan niyo or matatapos niyo ito pero nagapapasalamat parin po ako sa oras na binigay niyo sa pagbabasa ng kwentong ito. While I appreciate constructing criticisms, I just want to give you a heads up that you won't find perfection here.
