I got up to see my daughter Danni dancing around the room in her fairly costume. I laughed. She’s gotten so big. Almost 7. I laughed. Then I heard my grumpy brothers get up. Max 17 and Shane is 19. Max walks out first and screams Danni shut up. Danni keeps on dancing. I looked at him and said shut up yourself. He rolls his eyes and grabs the cercal. Danni stopped and said when’s Ally come over. Shane walked out and in the most rudest voice he said when her mother stops being a stupid person who lets her daughter come visit her farther. The to my surprise Danni looked at him and said don’t talk to daddy’s future wife about that. I cut in and said she’s not my future wife. I walked into the bathroom slamming the door. I can’t take people who make me miss her more. Then I hear my name. Shane! He sang Stevie and Andy sitting in a tree. K.I.S.S.I.N.G. First comes love then comes marriage. Then comes a baby in the baby carriage. I covered my eyes and slid down my down. Her name. Stevie. He brown hair and green eyes. Me my blue eyes and messy blonde hair. I’m the one who left her. I’m the one who was stupid and didn’t stay with the girl I love. I hit my head against the door. I tired so hard not to cry. Men don’t cry. Men don’t cry but I couldn’t stop myself. I wiped my tears away and walked out. I got Danni some breakfast. I went to my room and got dressed.  I walked out as did Shane’s girl friend. I rolled my eyes and picked Danni up. I brought her to her room and got her dressed. A whole week off for her. Great. Good thing I took the week off. I got her dressed and we went out to go watch some TV. Shane’s girl friend was all over him. Gross. I took Danni into the mud room and got her snow stuff on ad we went outside. We had snowball fights and build a snow man. Then I took her inside for a nap. She looked really tired. I got her out of her stuff. She fell asleep on my when I was helping her take her coat off. I brought her upstairs and put her to bed. I walked out and sat on the couch. Shane and his girlfriend Lacy went out. Max sat next to me and said can I ask you a question. I said sure hoping it was not about girls or love. But yet it was. He asked me about Stevie. I got up and tried to hide my tears. He didn’t laugh but he did say go get her. How could I? I screamed loud but not loud enough to wake up Danni. He scream how could I get the woman I left. He looked down and said your still in her life. You have that cute little girl who loves Danni and you. She and Danni always talk about you and Stevie getting married and about being one happy family. I knew they did but I couldn’t just show up and say I need you back I told him. The I sat back down and turned on the TV. We didn’t talk about it for the rest off the day.
