Lauren's P.O.V.

It's been 2 days since the full moon. The urge to mate with Camila has only gotten stronger. You see, when mates shift together on a full moon the inevitably become closer. It's sort of a bonding experience. Wolves do things as a pack because of a bond. They shift together well to unify themselves as a family. For mates it's meant for something much deeper. It's the start of an unbreakable connection.

I was going about my day off as I usually would. Correcting papers, planning the agenda for the next week, when Camila walked into our room that we shared with a certain look. Yes we share a room. We have since we shifted together. It physically hurt to not be able to have physical contact with each other. But the look Camz had was a bit mischievous. In all honesty I was a little scared.

"Uh hi Camz..." I said nervously. She smirked.

"Hi Lolo," she said somewhat seductively. I gulped. I put all of my work on the desk and got up. I went to the bed and sat down.

"Camz... I know what you're doing," I said.

"Is it working?" She asked hopefully. I chuckled and shook my head.

"Camz. I have to finish my work," I said. Camila pouted. She looks so cute.  She walked over to the bed, straddled my lap, and pushed me down onto the bed.

"Lolo... I really want this," she said as she kissed my neck. I flipped us over.

"I do too, but now is not the time," I said. She frowned, sat up and pushed me off.

"It's never the right time," she said, clearly upset. I instantly felt bad.

"Camz..." I started. " want this to be special. How about this weekend we go on a date. After the date we'll see what happens," I told her. She looked at me and gave a weak smile. She nodded.

"Okay. I'd really like that," she said and gave me a kiss.

"Good. Now, can I please get make to work?"

"Ugh! But Loooo that's so boring," she said with her head thrown back. She then looked at me with a pout trying to get me to give in. I looked away.

"Oh no you don't. I really need to get this done." She huffed and crossed her arms.

"Fine. I'll just go see what Dinah's doing. Since you're Miss Boring." I rolled my eyes and got back to work.

Camila's P.O.V.

I was still pouting as I left the room. I just wanted to get closer to Lauren. I waited 18 years for my mate and I felt like she didn't even like me sometimes. I knew she did because we're mates but it was just a feeling of insecurity.

I decided to go bother Dinah. I hope to the moon goddess that her and Mani aren't doing the nasty. I walk down the hall and take a left. Norminah's room was the first door on the right. Haha. Clever name right? Lauren came up with it. I walked to their door and knocked.

"Come in!" Dinah's so loud. I opened and saw Cheechee and Manibear cuddling. It kind of makes me jealous.

"Hey Chancho. What brings you here?" I stood there with my hands behind my back, looking down, and rocking on my heels.

"Mila... What's wrong?" Mani asked. Both Dinah and Normani looked concerned. I started to tear up.

"I feel like she doesn't want me," my voice cracked as a answered. Tears started to stream down my face. Dinah quickly got up and rushed over to me.

"Walz... Of course she wants you. She's just been distracted," She said. Mani sat up.

"Mila... Come here," Mani said with her arms open. I quickly ran into them. Dinah joined the hug.

"Chancho, everyone in the pack and their mama's know how much Ralph loves and wants you. She can't even been in the same room as you without smelling like love, lust,  and desire. The girl has you on her mind all of the time. You have no idea how many times she's blushed just at the thought of you," Dinah said. Normani nodded.

"No one in the pack says anything but a lot of the time when she's thinking, she's thinking in the links. Maybe no yours, but she definitely is thinking about you all the time," Normani explained with a slight smile. I blushed.

"Really?" I said looking down.

"Of course," Dinah and Normani said at the same time. With that I got up and walked back into mine and Lauren's room. As soon as I opened the door she looked up.

"Yes Camz?" She said with a sad smile. I said nothing. I walked over to her and just hugged her.

"I really love you Lolo." She pulled away from the hug and held my face.

"I really love you too Camz."

Normani's P.O.V.

"I really hope Mila's alright," I told my mate Dinah. She gave me a small smile.

"I know she is. Walz is tough. Sort of." We laughed a bit. "But she's fine. When we were little, right after we lost our parents, Camila was the one to take charge. She found Ally. She was so willing to put her own life at risk to protect us all. She can handle this. Insecurity gets the best of us. Even me, and that's saying something." I lightly hit her arm while laughing.

"We're so lucky," I told Jarindel. She agreed. I saw Dinah's face and she looked conflicted.

"What's wrong Dinah?" I asked concerned.

"Nothing. Teriana just really wants to jump you right now." She laughed nervously. I smiled.

"Soon babe." Dinah's face turned pink. My wolf howled in contempt for making her blush. Sometimes you'd think Jarindel was a lot more excited about things than I was. That was only partially true. I couldn't help but think about my future with Dinah. I do really love this woman.
