Chapter 23

Bell's P.O.V

Aria ended up taking me to her place, where she said she had a "surprise", whatever the hell that's supposed to mean.

I really didn't care at the time though, since Aria was my best friend when we were in university.

Well, she was the one who paid attention and learned stuff, I just sat there and stared at my professor, thinking what she would look like with a double chin.

Yeah, I don't learn well, but yeah. Anyways, we pulled up to Aria's house and she tied a blindfold around my head.

"Get this damned thing off me peasant! Who do you think you are?" I yelp, clawing at the blindfold. "I'm your friend and I need to cover your eyes for the surprise!"

I sighed in defeat and followed her instructions. Soon enough, after many stumbles and me almost falling in my face, we made it to the door.

"I'll open the door and take off the blindfold, and you can scream or cry or do whatever it is you do, alright?" she asked, breathing on my neck.

"Hokeyp!" I reply, hearing the door click open. She whips off the blindfold, and I do scream, imagine that.

Mitch's P.O.V (Warning, many P.O.V changes in this chapter!)

I heard Bell and Aria leave a few minutes ago, the door slamming behind them, leaving me to ponder over what I would do with Helen.

I only dated her on a dare, and I never loved her, but I never had courage to break it off until she cheated on me.

Now she's coming back and she may as well take me now because Bell will be so confused and hurt if she comes in and find me under Helen. Then I'll be in shit.

So, I grab my phone and calm Helen back, planning an escape plan. I hear it ring until it crackles and I hear her amused, high pitched voice on the other end.

"Hey Mitch, I knew you would call back, where should we meet?" she cackles, making me imagine I am talking to a witch.

"Helen, I'm not in Texas anymore, I'm in L.A again, so if you really wanna see me, come to L.A." I stifle laughter and she sighs, frustrated.

"Okay, I'll see you soon baby, love you!" she says. "Hate you too!" I yell back, hanging up.

I lay back against my bed and stare at the ceiling, thinking all the thoughts over in my brain. Then remembered one thing... Pax is tomorrow.

Jerome's P.O.V

I saw Adora standing at the counter, trying to get the coffee machine to work. I come up behind her slowly and wrap my hand around her waist.

"Do you need help?" I whisper, taking her hands away from the machine. "I would love some help" she replies, leaning back into my chest. I kiss the top of her head and slightly push her aside.

I press the start button and hear the sizzling of the hot coffee. "Well... show me up, that's fine, I totally don't care" she pouts, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Aww, baby, I'm sorry!" I extend my arms out and surround her, kissing the top of her head again, and I can feel her face grow warmer in my chest.

"I can't stay mad at you!" she laughs and kisses me. Right at this moment, I remember one slight problem, Pax is tomorrow.

Bell's P.O.V

I screamed so loud that I felt Aria tense. "KAYEL! LIANA! KENZIE!" I screech, leaving Aria's grasp and jumping on Kayel. "MAI GAWD, I MISSED YOU ALL!"

"My face..." she wheezed, clawing at me to get off. "Fine, I'll get off!" I retort, slowly clambering off her. Her green eyes were glaring at me, but she was still amused.

These are my only friends. And hopefully they will help me through Pax... which is tomorrow.

"God dammit" I whisper, fiddling with my thumbs. "What?" they all said in unison. "I gotta get home and spend time with my boyfriend, he leaves for Pax tomorrow!"

They all nod, Aria grabbing my arm. "Let's get you home!"

Mitch's P.O.V

I slowly open my eyes as I hear my door creak open. "Mitch?" I lift my head and see Bell. "Hey baby girl" I play off my loneliness with a smile.

"I'm so sorry!" she wails, running up to me and engulfing me in a bear hug. "Why?" I coo, rubbing circles in her back.

"I went to see my friends and left my boyfriend before he leaves tomorrow, and I shouldn't have done that!" she continues to wail.

"Hey, you have too see your friends too, so don't worry. Yeah, I missed you like hell, but you need your friends too!" She nods, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"I love you, alright? Remember that, because it's true" I lay her gently beside me. "I love you too" she whispers, barely audible.

I smile and take her hand. "So, what do you want to do today?"

So, hey lovelies! I got this chapter thing figured out!

Next chapter will be the last one, then the sequel! I have the ideas for the sequel already, and it should be out about a week after the last chapter.

Sorry for not updating, by the way, I love you all, but some people in my school don't, so...

But, I need to congratulate you guys on one thing...

2,000 FUDGING READS! HOLY BALLS! I AM FREAKING OUT! THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!

But, now I have to go, but I'll be back with an update on Changing Color or I might start Balancing Love back up, I dunno.
