I balanced my grip on the wall as I climbed out of the shower. My blonde, wet hair clung to my back as I wiped the water off of my body. I then proceeded to put baby oil on, a technique my mom taught me. I'm weird about my skin-it always has to be soft. I wrapped the towel around my wet hair and tied it up. I'm 99.9% positive I'm running late this morning. I stumble out of the bathroom, only to find my roommate sprawled across my bed.

"What are you doing?" I ask, shuffling through my drawers trying to find a suitable pair of underwear and a bra. I usually match them, just because my OCD is through the roof, but today I don't have the time nor the patience. I grab two random patterns and put the garments on.

"I'm not going to class today." She muttered. I know this voice, something is wrong.

"What's up?" I ask, once again pulling more clothes out of drawers to find something to wear. I focused my attention to a pair of yoga pants and a neon pink v-neck.

"Spencer is just really aggravating me. I stayed up until like, 5 am arguing with him."

"About?" I asked as I pulled the yoga pants over my ass. My ass has grown significantly since I started doing squats, I've noticed.

"I'm just tired of him lying to me. He's so sketchy sometimes and I feel like he might be cheating. But every time I bring it up to him, he gets defensive."

"Whit, seriously if he's getting that defensive, as much as I hate to say it, your assumptions might be right." I hate telling her this, but I've always had a feeling Spencer was cheating on her. I took the towel off of my head and brushed through my now damp hair with my fingers.

"Yeah, I guess. Can I sleep in here while you're gone? My bed smells like Spencer." I heard her voice crack a little and sighed.

"Of course you can," I smiled at her and pulled my shirt over my head. I grabbed my keys and phone off of my nightstand, gave Whitney a hug, and walked out in the living room. I sighed at the mess throughout the apartment and held myself back from cleaning the entire place. I walked out through the front door and down to my car in the parking garage to make my way towards campus.

I only had two classes today, so it should go fairly fast; I'm way behind on homework. I blame that on my tendencies to procrastinate. It takes 20 minutes to find a parking place near the campus and I nearly run to my first class, which is history.

"Hi," I smiled warmly at my friend, Alec, as I sat down next to him. I've known him for almost a year now and I think I'm as close to him as I am Whitney at this point.

"I would say I'm surprised that you're late, but you're always late so I'll save my remarks." He grinned at me and I shoved him gently with my shoulder.

The class dragged on and I decided to text Whitney to see how she was holding up. I could see Alec peering over my shoulder.

"Nosey much?" I whispered, trying not to interfere with the professors lecture.

"Just wanted to see how my favorite girl is doing." Alec smiled at the thought of Whitney. I'm pretty sure he's head over heels for her, which sucks for him because she's up Spencer's ass 24/7.

"What's up with her, anyway?" He asked while jotting down some notes from the lecture.

I peaked up at the clock, only 10 minutes left in this class. "I'll tell you after class." I promised and he nodded.

After history, we decided to walk down to the nearest coffee shop and talk until my next class.

"I don't want anything," I scrunched my nose at the thought of drinking coffee. I hated coffee.

"You're insane." Alec ordered his coffee and came to sit on the other side of the table.

I explained to him Whitney's situation and how things were going in my life at the moment.

"How are things with you and Cameron?" He took another drink of his coffee and tossed it into the trashcan behind him.

"I think we're officially done," I bit my lower lip. "We just aren't compatible and I don't feel like our relationship is going anywhere. After 2 years you'd think we'd be moving forward instead of backwards but that's not how it works for us."

"It'll all work out, everything happens for a reason." Alec smiled at me and I returned the gesture.

We said our goodbyes finally and I made it through my last class of the day. I feel exhausted and so ready to go home.

When I returned home, I opened the door to my apartment to find it messier than before. I heard yelling coming from Whitney's room and I sighed. I know exactly who is in there with her so I don't bother going to check.

I placed my keys on the counter and started cleaning the kitchen up. I suddenly heard the front door open and I turned around to find an unfamiliar face starring back at me.

"Um," I started.

"Are they done yet?" He asked, closing the door behind him.

"Who are you?" I asked, setting the dish I was cleaning down.

"Spencer's friend." He spoke nonchalantly, like he wasn't interested in talking to me at all.

I watched as he came over to the fridge and got himself a bottled water out. His brown, slightly curly hair was underneath a red beanie. He was wearing a plain white shirt and dark jeans. Tattoos were littering his tan and toned arms.

He caught me starring and smirked as he turned around. His green eyes were almost carving a hole into me.

"Spencer's friend?" I asked, feeling like it was getting harder to breathe around him. "What's your n-"

He cut me off, his deep voice vibrating off the walls. He licked his bottom lip before grinning and stating his name, "Harry."
