I understand Hui and Daeil have both officially left 24k, but they will both still be involved with my story. They will also both still be in the same order as before.
Cory: Cory wanted you to meet his parents, he had for a while. When he first suggested the idea to you, you were very hesitant to agree with his idea. It took you almost a week before you could make up your mind that you wanted to meet them too.
When you confirmed that you were willing to meet his parents, Cory jumped for joy and immediately called his parents. He prepared a date for a dinner and decided that the two of you would go to his parents home and eat a supper prepared by his mother.
When the date arrived you dressed properly for the occasion, and hand-in-hand the two of you walked to the bus station and took a ride to his parents' house. You were nervous and shaking when he answered the door, you refused his hand, nervous his parents wouldn't approve of skin-ship. Keep a small smile on, you acted politely throughout the dinner.
Too scared to be your normal self, you were so tense that even his parents noticed. You looked up at him from across the table and he smiled at you. Throughout the dinner, you became more comfortable, answering and asking his parents, mostly his mom, questions about your personalities. Before long, it seemed that it was time to go, you said a proper goodbye to his parents then left his home. Holding hands as you walked the sidewalk.
Instead of taking the bus the two of you decided to just walk through the park and the city back to your apartment. As you walked along the pavement, you silently held his hand, looking up at the lights. Their poles decorated with yellow Christmas lights, the trees, and ground bare. You could feel the fabric from his winter gloves through your own, as your fingers stuck to each other as if your winter gloves were glued.
The sky was clear, the white and yellow stars standing out clearly in the dark purple sky. There wasn't any snow on the ground but it was cold enough that you could see your breath. Which came out of your mouth in thick puffs. The scenery seemed cliché, but it was romantic. You let out a small laugh, not looking up at him.
"What's so funny?" He asked.
"Nothing, I was just thinking about how silly I was before. Getting so nervous about meeting your parents. They turned out to be great people, like you. Now I understand why their son is so kind-"
"I love you."
Your footsteps stopped abruptly, he stopped you. You looked up at him, eyebrows furrowed in shock, trying to make sense of what he just said. "Hm? What did you say?"
His face was red, he looked flushed. Something that could easily be a result of the cold, but you knew it wasn't from the weather.
"I said I love you..." he muttered back, he seemed to have a difficult time repeating himself. Neither of the two of you had gone as far to pronounce your love for the other. You've only been dating for about a year.
You were silent, your eyes focused on your shoes, you could feel your face heat up. Your breathing shaky.
"Y/n? Say something, you can't just be silent when someone confesses to you. I love you too. I really do."
You looked up at him finally. "I love you too."
