Charlie woke up as the sun was coming up, the sliver of sun casting a pretty glow over the land. She shifted and turned her face to look at Daryl who still slept, snoring lightly since he was on his back. She smiled to herself, thinking about the prospect the prison brought.
"Why don' ya take a picture, it'll last ya longer." she heard Daryl mumble.
Charlie chuckled, "I would if I could." she told him. He lifted his head and looked at her for a moment before making a 'pff' noise and dropping his head again. Charlie sat up and looked around, noting all the sleeping faces, including Rick who seemed to finally find a chill pill, if only for a moment. She shifted and ended up straddling Daryl's lap, his hands resting comfortably on the back of my thighs.
"Whatcha need a picture fer? We're hardly apart." Daryl asked.
She shrugged, "I liked taking pictures of everything before this happened. Photography was almost my major before I decided to do medicine." she told him.
"That's two very different things," he noted. She nodded.
"I took a class though, even after I decided. I liked to photograph my friends while they were busy. I had this one friend, a skateboarder, I loved photographing him while he did tricks. Actually made the art festival the one year with pictures of him and my other friends." she told him absentmindedly. She never really brought up her life before this, it hurt to think that all those friends might possibly be dead.
"Wish I coulda seen it, your pictures that is," he told her.
She smiled a bit, "Our paths would've never crossed if this hadn't happened. We're polar opposites." she told him. The corners of his mouth perked up a bit and then turned down shortly after. To distract him from this thought, she leaned down and planted a kiss on his lips. Immediately, she felt his whole body react as he deepened the kiss and held onto her tighter, pulling her closer. She broke away and bit her lip a bit, an idea popping into her head. She stood over him, offering her hand to him. He took it cautiously, seeing the mischievous gleam in her eyes. She led them away from the group that still hadn't stirred from sleep and towards one of the guard towers they'd cleared yesterday.
When they stepped out on the balcony, the sun was peeking out above the trees and warmed the earth with heat and light. "You brought me up here for the sunrise?" he asked from behind her, his arms wrapped around her waist and chin resting against her head.
"Were you hoping for something else?" she asked teasingly. He remained silent and when she glanced up at him, his face appeared to be flushed with color. Charlie snickered and dropped her head to his chest, gazing up at him. "And what if the others wake up and wonder where we've gone?" she asked him. Though she had to admit, it had been so long that she was positive they were thinking the same thing.
It was as if someone flipped a switch on their moods because suddenly she was being pulled back into the guard tower and pushed against a wall, Daryl's rough lips against her's, "Let them wonder." he growled low before returning his lips to her's. She smirked and kissed him back, reaching her hand around and gripping his hair tight in her hand, giving small tugs here and there to raise a groan from the man. He finally lifted her up effortlessly and allowed her to wrap her legs around his waist as he set her on the desk that still sat inside the tower. He kissed down her neck and jawline, leaving marks in obvious places before moving to undo her jeans as she worked on his. Pants unbuttoned, she began undoing his button-down shirt and running her hands up his chest as he continued to kiss her.
"Good lord, it's been so long." Daryl moaned as he freed his cock from the boxers that contained it. He pushed her shoulder and she laid back before he shoved aside her underwear and, without hesitation, slipped a finger inside her folds and started rubbing circles around her clit.
