For a moment, Charlie couldn't remember where she was when she woke up. Then, after looking around, she remembered the prison they'd found.
"Morning sunshine," Daryl said when he felt her stir.
She groaned, "Is it still daytime?" she asked.
"Sure is. You had about an hour or so of uninterrupted sleep. How do you feel?" he asked.
She sat up and looked at him, "So much better." she said. "Did you get any sleep?" she asked.
Daryl sat up too, "A bit. Mostly watched you sleep." he told her.
Charlie looked at him, "That's like... creepy. You creep." she said in her best 'basic girl' voice.
He chuckled, "What can I say, you look so much better when your mouth ain't constantly moving." he joked.
"You watch it, Dixon, or you won't get any of the pleasures this mouth can provide," she told him and raised her eyebrows.
Daryl's smirk immediately dropped, "You wouldn't." he told her.
"You don't know what I'd do," she said.
"I'm gonna pay for that comment, ain't I?" he asked.
Charlie laughed, "You bet your ass you will." she said, a wicked grin plastered on her face.
Daryl leaned in to kiss her when she pulled back, "You're an evil woman, Charlotte Grimes." he told her through gritted teeth.
Charlie sat back and placed her hands against the cold concrete and smiled at him, "Don't you forget it, Dixon." she said. After a moment of him glaring at her and her smiling back, she finally leaned forward and planted a kiss on his lips, then leaned back again, "So as much as I love this perch, it isn't very... private." she said.
"What do we need to be private for?" he asked, hoping for some dirty description.
Charlie smirked, "Well I'd rather show you, but we're out here all exposed and Rick is right down those stairs." she said. "How do you feel about claiming one of those guard towers for ourselves? Clean it up, bring some beds out there. Has some real potential." she said, "And, we can keep a better eye out for any approaching herds and such. Privacy and protection, win-win." she said.
Daryl leaned forward and brought Charlie's lips to his with her chin in her hands, "I think that sounds perfect." he said after he kissed her.
"Hey guys, why don't you come on down? We're gonna start clearing the surrounding halls." Rick said from ground level. A few other people had come out of the cells and were waiting. Daryl kissed Charlie once more before he stood and then helped her up. They gathered around a table that Rick had already started to lay the weapons he'd found out on.
"Not bad," Daryl said as he took in the inventory on hand.
"Flashbangs, CS Triple-Chasers. Not sure how they'd work on walkers, but we'll take 'em," he said while T-Dog fiddled with some guns.
Daryl picked up one of the riot helmets, "I ain't wearin' this shit." he said as goo dripped from the item.
"We could boil 'em," T-Dog suggested as more walker goo dripped out of the glove he was holding up.
"Ain't enough firewood in the whole forest. No." Daryl declared and set the helmet back on the table."'Side, we made it this far without 'em, right?" he said and swung the long object in his hand.
"Hershel." Carol softly called from the doorway.
"Everything alright?" Rick said as Hershel made his way towards the woman.
