Xiao's POV I was going to the competition hall to grab the list about our directions for the competition and order. When the person at the front counter gave it, it only had MoonBin's name.
Xiao: um... excuse me? My name is supposed to be on this too Man at counter: what is your name? Xiao: my name is a Cheng Xiao Man at counter: give me one moment to look up your name Xiao: Ok Man at counter: yeah... sorry but your name is not on it Xiao: what?! How? Man at counter: if you have any complaints then you can take it to the main office upstairs but you aren't on the list anymore Xiao: are you serious?! Man at counter: I'm sorry there isn't anything I can do
Oh my gosh!!! This can't be happening right now! I decided to go upstairs to the main office but the security guards wouldn't let me in and dragged me outside! What the heck is going on?! I just went back to the practice room.
Momo: your finally back! MoonBin: why do you look like that? Xiao: I'm not doing the competition Mina: WHAT?! WinWin: why not?! Rocky: this is bogus! Xiao: I'm not in the order Lay: I'm going to go straighten this out Xiao: I tried! But nothing Victoria: something must have happened Xiao: they didn't even give me a reason either Victoria: I will get to the bottom of this
I left early and went to see EunWoo who was sitting on one of the couches on our floor.
EunWoo: why so sad? Xiao: I'm not performing in the competition anymore... EunWoo: what?! Xiao: it might be better for you... less completion EunWoo: Yah!!! I wanted a fair one! I can't believe it Xiao: me too EunWoo: I'm going to get you back in there Xiao: Thanks... Victoria unnie said the same but there's only so much someone can do... thanks for the thought EunWoo: but I know who did this Xiao: you do?!?! Who? EunWoo: it's yeonjung Xiao: Yeonjung? EunWoo: I heard about two days ago when I went to go ask a question but I heard it
Two days earlier EunWoo was walking to the main office to ask some questions but the door was closed and when he was about to knock on the door he heard Yeonjung's voice.
Yeonjung: can't we kick Cheng Xiao out dad? Yeonjung's Dad: but you do know that this is risky business? If anyone finds out you will automatically be disqualified? Yeonjung: well I'm not going to and don't worry just do it... Yeonjung's Dad: Ok then! As long as my dear daughter wins then that's all that matter Yeonjung: Thanks appa!
When she came out of the office, EunWoo stopped her.
Yeonjung: EunWoo! EunWoo: you aren't really going to do that right? Yeonjung: do what? EunWoo: don't act dumb! I heard everything Yeonjung: EunWoo you heard wrong EunWoo: no I didn't! You better not do any of this or I won't forgive you Yeonjung: EunWoo!
Back to present...
Xiao: why does she hate me so much? Well then again I can't really say I liked her either EunWoo: I'm gonna go talk to her and straighten this out Xiao: Thanks EunWoo EunWoo: come here
I snuggled into his arms and I felt much better. He walked me back to my dorm while holding hands. When he gave me kiss on the forehead I went into the dorm and went to sleep.
EunWoo's POV I walked immediately to Yeonjung.
EunWoo: Yeonjung! Yeonjung: EunWoo! Wendy: EunWoo we have to talk about the competition Yeonjung: Ok! We all do EunWoo: you know what I mean Sejeong: what's going on? EunWoo: Yeonjung why did you get Xiao disqualified? Wendy: *gasps* Yeonjung; why are you complaining? It's less competition for us and she was going to lose anyway so take her out earlier EunWoo: how could you do this?! You know we can all get disqualified because of this! Wendy: WHAT?! Yeonjung: but that's only if you decide to keep your big mouth shut! So just shut up EunWoo EunWoo: I wanted this a lot but I didn't want to get it like this Yeonjung: aren't you over reacting just because Xiao is your girlfriend? I know that if you two weren't friends or dating I think you would be happy just like me EunWoo: no I wouldn't... because at least I have morals and believe in fairness... I'm quitting the competition! If Xiao isn't doing it then I'm not doing it either! But that also means that Yeonjung isn't doing it either
I went to go report it to the board and explained the whole situation. My evidence was Yeonjung and her dad. They decided to investigate it and would get back to me in a few days. I told Xiao everything that happened and she shouldn't feel bad about me quitting. Then the results came in. Yeonjung and her dad were found guilty and both were disqualified from the competition. It ended up being paused for a couple weeks because everything that was happening. We were left with good news. Xiao and I were able to participate in the competition again.
