Libertyy had to explain the entire dilemma to her mom. She got to explaining the part about how Alex beat up Tessa.

"You should've let Alex beat her up even more."

"Mom, that's a bit messed up."

"Your story is a bit messed up."

"Chris is a bit messed up."

"Life is a bit messed up."

"A bit?" Asked Libertyy.

"Okay. Really messed up."

"That's more like it."

There was silence in the car. Pure silence. Usually Mom would tell an interesting life story or a life lesson by now but, there was nothing to say. Libertyy guessed her mom wasn't used to dealing with teenage love. Libertyy never really had crushes or boyfriends. Well, maybe a few times in her lifetime, but it never went farther than holding hands. Libertyy had a younger sister, Jordan, and she didn't deal with love, either.

After a while, they finally got home and they got off the car, saying nothing.

"That's a bit weird." Said Libertyy's mom as she saw a strange box on their doorstep.

"I didn't do it." Libertyy said quickly.

"We never order anything online." Jennifer picked up the box and studied the wood carvings. One half of the box was carved into deers, magnificent trees, gorgeous animals, and a bunch of swirls everywhere. The other half was carved into a bunch of buildings and cars. There were roads and sidewalks. Small figures looked like they were walking.

On the box there was a note that said "To, Libertyy"

"Happy early birthday..?" Mom said, uncomfortably.

"Thanks." Said Libertyy, confused.

Libertyy walked into her room with the box and studied it. She opened the box and there was a clock. A small antique clock. It was golden and very small. She saw that the clock had a large golden chain. The clock was also working and somehow,  the time was precise.

Libertyy saw that there was a card at the bottom of the small box. She noticed that there was a small logo on it. The logo had an eye with plants surrounding it.

She opened the card and saw a small note inside. "Use this carefully. In the wrong hands, this small time-turner can lead to disastrous events. Move the clock to your desired time." The note wasn't signed or anything. The only thing left on the letter was the logo. Time-turner? What do they mean by that?

Libertyy looked outside her bedroom door and saw no one there. For some reason, she felt like this was real. It can't be. It is surely a prank. There is no way that magic exists, right? Right? But, what if it isn't a prank? Libertyy always believed in supernatural things like paranormal activity and always believed in time travel. So, she had hope in this. But, the other half of her told her to not do this. It's probably a stupid joke from Tessa or one of her friends.

Tessa. The kiss.

She had a sudden idea. She jumped out of bed and closed the door. She held the clock tightly in her shaking hand and turned it backwards to this morning, at lunch. She turned the clock three times backwards.

Everything went blurry for a second as she turned it backwards. Then, she saw everything clearly. The sun through the windows bounced across the walls. The sky lost it's orange and pink colors and faded back to a baby blue. The clouds scurried across the sky. The leaves that previously fell off the trees attached themselves back on. The box and the letter were gone. The only thing left was her clock in her hand.
